Music industry insider- many agencies consider BTS’ cb when planning debut & cb schedules bc BTS & related things dominate portal sites, SNS, & online communities for about a week before & after BTS’ cb. Male idols don’t have a reason to cb w BTS bc it’s imp to get more exposure
There’s also analysis that April cb rush has decreased bc of 5th anniv of Sewol Ferry tragedy & aftermath of big Burn*ng S*n controversy. Mid-April isn’t ideal for cb/debut since there aren’t many festivals & not ideal for idols- but doesn’t affect BTS who has global promotions
