Yall.... so my mom just called me with the wildest fucking news. (thread)

My mom hasn’t seen/spoke to her biological mom in nearly 40 yrs. Her mom just wasn’t a good mother and she was impossible to locate.

Well, after my mom found out about my German uncle back in January ... she was trying to locate my grandma for closure.

So, today, she finally found her mom. She had been living in East Point ATL for the past 20 years. Except... she died, which isn’t the crazy part because the woman was 77 years old.

Turns out, my grandma was missing from like 2011-2016 and two women that had been living with my grandma for like 9 years had been stealing her identity and credit cards and money... police figured this out when they found my grandma, I guess

So, the house she was living in at the the time she went missing had been sold to new owners. And in 2016 they were doing yardwork in their backyard AND THEY FOUND MY FUCKING GRANDMA’S BODY BURRIED THERE.

Now, my mom is trying to contact the police dept to get more information because apparently they were unable to find her family when they discovered her body... is this real life?

Update: my mom spoke with the detective today and apparently the body found died from a gunshot wound. But since the police couldn’t locate family to identify the body, they weren’t able to legally say it was my grandma or charge those women with murder

But my mom’s gonna do a DNA test and if it matches, the PD is gonna reopen the case and call in the FBI to investigate.
