I really think I need to reiterate what 2016 did to me as a woman, not just a woman of color but as a woman period. As a young woman I was raped, I was told that my rape did not matter. I was blamed for the actions of my predator. /1

As a young adult I worked hard and put up with affirmative action jokes and other racist shit just so I could pay my bills. I took a lot of shit that I wish I had not because I didn't know any better. /2

I also married an abusive sociopath who tore down every thing about me, had me doubt everything about myself in order to keep me by his side. I have struggled, fallen come back more than I though I could. /3

I have educated myself, given life, strive to do right. And I watched along with so many other women as someone who also fought struggled, educated herself and cared got her life's dream stolen from her. /4

I also listened and still hear the hateful things they say about her. People want to ask me why I get defensive of @HillaryClinton when I am pro not being emotional in politics. Well that is simple. /5

For me Hillary understands more than anyone what it means to be a black woman in this world. To have those devalue you just based on nasty perceptions. No matter how much you try to struggle and rise above you always face that hate! /6

And even despite it, she still reached out and spoke to everyone because she believed so much more in this country than it believed in her. All these pundits and wannabe rock stare politicians, yall can all keep slinging mud. /7

But you won't accomplish a tenth of what that woman has done in her entire life. And she did it for others! It makes me sick that in 2019 we still have media pundits and politicians making a point to crap on her legacy! /8

We did not deserve her bid to lead us and it shows, when we put the most heinous, incompetent idiot ever to walk this Earth in charge of our nation instead of full on protesting this travesty! /9

And you trolls out there can miss me with your shes a war criminal, super predators or any other bull shit talking point. I am not the one, do not bring that to my mentions no one wants to see your nonsense! /10

I am sick to death of watching this country tell women we do not matter. Tell us that our pain, our triumphs or struggles will be met with "did she smile enough?" What was her message?" The message was clear you just didn't want to hear it! /11
