I’m gonna start a thread of things I knit. Just finished these cute cable and lace socks.

I love knitting cables so much. There’s no room for error but when you nail it, you nail it. This @purlsoho yarn was SO luxurious...and then I found out they’re discontinuing it . I bought enough for my stash to make this same hat for a friend’s baby and a scarf for me .

I loved knitting the hat above and they discontinued the yarn so I bought a skein for a baby hat for my friend due this fall. adult hat for scale. baby knits are so cute

fair isle cardigan for the same baby that’s getting the hat in the tweet above. I’m obsessed with how cute this knit up ! and the colors are pretty unisex so if they have a boy in a few years it can be passed down

baby blanket for the baby in the two posts above. mom wanted bold colors in her nursery and I absolutely love how this turned out

winding all your skeins up is a knitter’s least favorite chore. good to do while you’re watching football, though.

baby blanket! the mom saw the blanket further up and was doing 3/5 of the colors in her nursery so it was easy to make her a similar one. delivered last weekend and met her newborn!

hot pink scarf just for me this was the last of my @purlsoho alpaca yarn that they discontinued

my first fair isle sweater—a LOT of work to do on colorwork tension but for my first one I’m pleased. I finished it early this year but just weaved in the ends because now it’s cold enough to wear.

wound FOURTEEN skeins today that will eventually be a fabled sweater. obsessed with this colorway

I knitted the same hat for a good friend and a Twitter good friend. It’s two posts back in this thread. Finished up the matching scarf for the first one and liked the knit so the second friend is probably also getting a matching scarf later this year! love how this turned out
