Since everyone always like "y'all glorifying entrepreneurship" ..."everybody don't wanna be a entrepreneur" etc.

I decided to make a thread on the CONS of being an entrepreneur ❌
1. Lonely af....no one to blame but yourself ....for everything.

Back ends up being against the wall a lot.
2. Constantly misunderstood.

Entrepreneurship is it's own religion/culture based on extreme empathy and accountability.

Your mind eventually just wires itself to process every situation.

& most don't relate & don't want to.
3. All day problem solving.

Your job is to LITERALLY to bypass obstacles for yourself and others.

Forever. You clean up messes for a living.
4. The obvious one.

80% of us don't get to the real paper for a while.

Most businesses make nothing the first 24 months.
5. Most ppl don't like you

especially if you a man...black? Forget about it.

Being an entrepreneur is a snobby thing to do.....no one likes snobby ppl.

And as a black man in America.. you sposed to be the opposite of snobby.
6. You get NO credit for putting your own $ up/investing in yourself.

Most ppl (idc how much money they get paid) don't have the heart to invest their own resources.

Yet they will criticize someone all day who had the heart to do it...even claiming they could do it "better".
You basically become a parent early.

You have to become mature af to wake up everyday and build/maintain a brand/business.

You're caring for a child while everyone else living essentially carefree.
8. Creatives basically view you as the DEVIL

Their emotional nature stops them from being empathetic to the fact that the math part of the brain is also needed.

They completely disregard the fact that the lights HAVE to be kept on & that economics is necessary in human society
9. Even when you reach success....no one besides the ppl you're feeding or helping to feed are gonna think you deserve it.

The narrative will ALWAYS be that you cheated...had a head start or "sold your soul".
10. You will work more hours than anyone (if you wanna win)

You gon have less "vacations" & "weekends" than your 9-5 peers.
