I've spent the past few days looking into the story involving Nickie Lum Davis & Jho Low funneling money through Elliott Broidy.

Let's just say the world surrounding the mysterious Hollywood dealmakers, mob fixers, wiretaps, Africa, Israel, China and yes...phone sex.
Let's begin here.

Sarit and Ami Shafrir were scammed out of $40 million by Daniel and Abner Nicherie.

"Nicherie milked the couple dry by posing as an investment bank and lawyer. Managing to seize control of the couple's companies, then emptying assets.
"Ami Shafrir's main business had been Amtec Audiotext, a sex-calls operation with annual turnover of tens of millions a year. One of its biggest assets was its database of users."

Shafrir also had a partnership with Joe Shapira, Nickie Lum Davis' ex- husband.
Anthony Pellicano was hired by the Nicherie Brothers to wiretap Ami Shafrir. They convinced his wife Sarit, to work alongside them.

"Pellicano told the Nicheries he could use customized electronics to cause interference on Ami's cell phone." https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2006/06/pellicano200606
Sarit would eventually become frightened enough to go to the FBI with her concerns.

"Prosecutors allege Pellicano wanted to prevent Proctor from testifying against him in the Busch case. The reporter was working on a story about actor Steven Seagal and possible links to the Mafia in 2002 when she found a dead fish on her car."
Shafrir was able to reinvent himself in 2011 with a new talent agency, Explore Talent.

The site boasts of the access to thousands of auditions and posts video of celebrity interviews.

"Over 300 Hollywood celebrities including Matt Damon, Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, Eva Longoria, Jamie Foxx, and Snoop Dogg have been exclusively interviewed by Explore Talent."
Imagine my shock to see Akon's involvement with Explore Talent. Not really, that is also another element to the weirdness.

"In the Spring of 2010, Akon‘s AKONic Entertainment and CEO Nickie Shapira launched Vodacom Superstar in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a show with the stated aim of discovering “the hottest talents in Africa.”
"Additionally, a relationship has been formed in the U.S. with Trisha Lum and Nickie Lum Davis of TriNick Entertainment, Marvin Baker of Cafe Nashville and BGTV Direct who will continue to bring American music of all genres like Blue Grass, R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop to China."
Time to add 2 cups of WTF? to the already crazy story. Blake Yoon is alleged to have ties to Explore Talent and Ami Shafrir.
Yoon does actually own several modeling, casting, and photography companies in Los Angeles.
