US media demonizes Venezuela colectivos w the same script they demonize Antifa w. Same way they demonized Black Panthers.

Colectivos are autonomous neighborhood collectives- some colectivos are armed, some ride motorcycles, others focus on literacy&food, some r all these things.

They are community based and autonomous, and come from the poorest neighborhoods. Apparently, there are a couple of them that are rightwing opposition siding, and some who may actually do fucked up shit- as there will be anytime you have millions of people.

Each and every one is not related to each other. Some work together. They are a mass movement.

It's interesting that these mainstream outlets are doing these articles against them right before the opposition has announced demonstrations that most expect to be violent against Chavistas. The folks that stop that shit are usually the colectivos and these outlets know it.

It should also be said that many sectors of the opposition are definitely armed as well.
