Finally reading The Heart of Redness by @ZakesMda. Utat'uZakes is an artist. A real artist. I don't even have enough words to describe how natural and brilliant he is.

One of my favourite short stories by @Lidudumalingani. One of the best short stories you'll ever read. The title makes my heart skip a bit.

Cleansing the palate with this collection of short stories from more than 10 African writers and the @caineprize before jumping to yet another longish novel. Writers include @BinyavangaW @ChimamandaReal @helonhabila and lots more from across the continent.

Now reading the best in the game. I loved Down Second Avenue and got this as a gift years ago. Now I'm ready. #Es'kiaMphahlele #AfrikaMyMusic @KwelaBooks
