My understanding of the Quibi business model is that by playing credits between each act of TV instead of commercials, you can claim a 10 episode $2,000,000 an episode season is actually 40 “low budget under 12 minute episodes” , allowing SAG and WGA minimums to be skirted.
When you stream them they will just autoplay back to back like a normal episode.
Also the credits will probably be autoskipped (thanks Netflix)
This allows the stars and producers to be paid equivalent to high budget money but below the line crew, writers, and non star actors to be paid even less than usually.
Here are the SAG and WGA loopholes this plan is threaded through. There are similar things for the other unions.
