ive been losing a lot of interest in things lately and one of them is food
which really breaks my heart because i LOVE food :-(

made kimchi jjigae the other day and it wasnt the best but i think its because my kimchi wasnt sour enough ahaha

today’s lunch!!! 🍝
(and dinner bc i made too much ahaha)

put in a ton of basil from my garden because they’ve been growing really well lately 💪🏻🌱
made kimchi fried rice with an egg!! 🍳
trying to use up more gochujang and ended up making it super spicy 🥵 ahaha but it’s still yummy!
today i made veggie gyozas from scratch!! 💪🏻
fried them too and they’re good~ next time i’m gonna add ginger maybe for more kick 😋
udon and gyoza! 🍜
gyozas are instant and not handmade this time tho haha

the udon cooks really fast but thanks for watching the short stream if u did ✨😋

made veggie tofu soup and some grilled saba on the side !

grilled garlic salmon with salad and pita bread~ and tub guacamole 🥑
Garlic cream pasta with mushroom, broccoli and basil 🥦

vague cooking instructions (idk how much i used exactly 🤭):
- fry garlic in olive oil
- stir in butter
- add cooking cream, salt and pepper
- add pasta and boiled ingredients, mix on low heat
- serve with chopped basil
made dinner while mama cleaned!

TIP‼️ make a ton of gyoza and freeze it so you can have homemade gyoza whenever~

also made agedashi tofu! THIS IS ONLY THE SECOND TIME I MANAGED TO MAKE IT SO WELL😭

it’s actually a SUPER easy recipe, it’s just Cornflour and the tofu, fried bUT-
it kept breaking until i realised YOU HAD TO USE JAPANESE CORNFLOUR 片栗粉 it’s apparently not the same... 🤦🏻‍♀️

if anyone wants to make it make sure to remember this!! it will save you a lot of heartbreak over your tofu breaking apart 🙃🙃🙃

long time no update but here’s my cozy bowl of rice cake with egg drop veggie soup 🤍
i made pasta and carrot pumpkin purée
forgot i still had left over dumplings that i made from lunch hehe

kimchi + dumplings = kimchi dumplings 🥟✨
i made curry !!! and the deep greens on my rice looked cute so hehe

somehow my curry turned out rly sweet ? hm not sure why 🤔

repurposed pancakes for lunch heh ,, topped with sliced beef and salad + garlic dollops ( ´∀`)
i baked matcha roll cake !! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

it got squished and broke when i put it in the fridge tho LOL and it’s a bit too dense i probably over mixed T_T
it’s been too long since i baked,, i should get back to baking more esp during this time hahaha
made an effort to bring out all the pretty plates and arrange my dinner rly nicely tonight haha ✨

been a while since i made teriyaki salmon so it tasted extra yummy 😋

then made udon after bc felt like something was missing heh

this morning’s accomplishments: made banana bread !!!! 🍌🍞
mom requested a ~fancy tea time~ so we made some scones together 🌟
made some 蒜板 with mom for grandma to wish her happy mother’s day,, and also made some nom ka chai (cambodian chive cakes) as per my sister’s request haha

they’re not !!! the prettiest bc we suck HAHA but they taste yummy so that’s a relief ;0;
a voice whispered in my ear “sister can you make cookies” so i made cookies 🍪✨
needed to get all that work stress out from a particularly tough day....... in the form of a fluffy earl grey sponge cake ;~;

was supposed to steep the tea overnight to have a richer tea taste but i wanted the cake NOW lol,, but otherwise it turned out rly good !!! ٩(^‿^)۶
i made kimchi pancakes and holy CRAP THEYRE VERY VERY GOOD ??? i shocked myself ?? they’re like chewy and flavourful and not greasy wow i’m truly PROUD of this one
tried adjusting some parts of my cookie recipe; they turned out good!but a bit too different LOL gotta be patient n make smol adjustments

personal notes for future improvements:
- reduce sugar
- substitute more bread flour for APF
- smaller salt crystals
- top setting 12 mins
beef stir fry, kailan and tamagoyakiiiiiiiiiiii fast fast dinner wew
didn’t have enough chicken so couldn’t make stew lol
looks like a normal chocolate chip butter cake but is actually an advocaat cake ,, 🍰
