If Black People really knew themselves, they wouldn’t allow other races to provide services for them because they would understand that no one can do it better than them. We are the most imitated, envied, and exploited race of people. Yet we are the poorest.
Why? Because we are being miseducated and distracted. We control a minuscule amount of the content supplied to us. This goes for what we watch on TV, what we listen to on the Radio, who we buy our nails, hair, bodies, cars, etc from.
How do we complain about other races copying our culture and yet at the same time give them our money to supply us with our own content?
How can we be upset that the Koreans we get our nails done from, treat us like shit, when we refuse to unite and support the black owned nail salons that understand our struggle. Everyone loves what Kaepernick is doing until it’s time for the Super Bowl or next football game
Which by the way too many of you complained of being trash, but see how many black viewers the lose next year. Self love and respect is more than just saying fuck white people, racism, the government, etc. It is more than just celebrating 28 days.
Self love and respect is more than just saying I’m Black and I’m proud. It’s standing up for social injustices even when it isn’t personal. It is refusing to support business that don’t respect us even if the incident wasn’t personal
Black love is shifting values of sports, money, music and nice bodies and turning it into reading, organization, unity, and team work. Without those things, we will never advance as a people, and I’m sorry, but we can’t blame the white man for that.
