they had their comeback later on called exquisite as long with their japanese debut called mermaid. this is exquisite
just to be specific. i’m gonna be talking about both member’s career and projects and later on we’re gonna talk about the whole mess from both sides. i am a sori stan but i used to love coco just as much as i love sori, so i’m not gonna throw any shade so you can take your own
conclusions and believe what you want.
in 2016 cocosori also went to the idolmaster survival project. it was to form a girl group who would also be a part of the drama cinderella girls also based on the anime.
coco didn’t make it but sori did, debuting with the group called R.G.P (Real girls project)
however, even if coco didn’t make it to the group she would still be mcing for them and traveling with them everywhere, she would jokingly dance with them sometimes too, she was always there!

in 2017 coco released her debut as a soloist as well as her youtube channel, starting her career as a youtuber while sori promoted with rgp
as 2017 was finishing, coco went to the survival show The Unit, she didn’t make it through the auditions and you have a video of her with her whole experience
while coco tried on the unit, sori as well tried on Mixnine, she made it even with yg telling her she was too old to be an idol and that she would give up. she made it through the final and the only reason she didn’t debut with them was because the boy team won

let’s make a pause and emphasize the fact that coco was reuniting some international fans because of her youtube videos and with her being friends with people like edward avila, the 1million team, etc. while sori was making korean fans with her projects on korea
most of them being old creepy men who like young girls okay let’s be honest
with 2018 starting coco was already a famous youtuber, mostly among the international kpop fans! in february CocoSori had a comeback with Mi amor
august came and coco made her comeback with sugar cake!
and in september sori finally made her debut with the iconic touch!
Mi amor, Sugar Cake and Touch had kickstarters to reunite money to be able to do the promos! In case you don’t know kickstarter is a web were artists can start a campaign for their fans to donate! a lot of idols do this since they do not have enough money to make it
usually, fans who donate a lot of money get rewards and things like that, let’s not forget this!
now we’re gonna talk about the mess 
everything started with coco streaming on twitch, she was watching her own comeback and apparently people keep asking about sori so she replied. i’m trying to find the whole thing but it’s difficult since she deleted it all

then the instagram shade came. i’m sure this isn’t all she said but i can’t find more. again; i’m not saying what i think just so you can have your own opinion in the matter.
while coco was saying all of this. sori was promoting her song touch and even made a video about her latex dress were she spoke about her using it because it reminded her of cocosori’s debut
let’s not forget the fact that sori always promoted coco’s solo activities, her debut and comeback and everything. but coco was still saying she only promoted her this time (which, if it would be true, i can’t see why she’s so mad about sori promoting her

the whole situation blowed up on stan twitter around november-december, it started to spread not only here but in pages like allkpop and a lot of kpop communities such as prettyuglylittleliars or reddit and so
That’s when Mole Ent decides to make a public announcement about the situation were they state that they would be taking legal actions against coco
remember when i said that usually fans who donate on kickstarter get rewards? well, as you can see in the company statement, there was some rewards on coco’s campaign that still weren’t received by the fans because coco was supposed to do them personally but she never did
meanwhile, coco was still on vacation and just saying things on social media…
now not to be me but here are some videos of sori making all the rewards herself for the i’m ready kickstarter and having the meeting with the winners at the end from touch because i can’t find the other videos

as you can see; most of the things are about coco because sori remained silent in the whole situation. she never said anything about coco more than nice things…
while coco was talking about it in social media (and her friends ((((edward avila)))) too) sori was silent and just continuing with her career, she started another kickstarter and made her comeback with i’m ready!

after al the things coco has said about sori and the company, the company gave coco the choice of just taking about the things instead of taking legal actions, coco only had to delete all those things and state an apology. however, coco’s said there would be no apology
everything would of have been without the whole suing issue. coco would of have terminated her contract with no legal actions against her, she would only had to fix her false accusations.
Mole ent also talks about the fact that they are not “broke” as coco said, but they still aren’t a big company. all their artist have been working with the help of their fans with kickstarters.
Coco was even being paid a salary every month even if she wasn’t doing anything... the profits she would make out of youtube and her individual activities weren’t shared with the company nor sori, they were all 100% for her. also the lessons she would take and pay by +
herself were things that she wanted to do herself, so the company wasn’t really obligated to pay them. so the whole oH iM SupPosEd To Be The One PaYing For My LeSsons is a yes. you’re supposed to
they also do talk about the fact that coco wanted to debut as a soloist but it wasn’t beneficial to the company, however, they still helped her to do it and even got her the particular composer and director for the mv that she exclusively wanted.
the music she wanted wasn’t something really beneficial from a business point of view and they knew it wasn’t going to do well in the charts but they still accomplished her wishes
now the parts were she said that “her freedom wasn’t really good because she had to do everything on her channel including editing and that but sori was made by her company” Coco apparently told the company she wanted her own youtube channel to earn money from it so they
let her do it independently from her being in the company since it wasn’t on the contractual terms and the company wasn’t getting any financial gains. i think that, since the company is involved in sori’s channel, they do get money from it, that’s why they help sori but not HER
not because of preference but because of actual facts and that’s how busines works
the amount of contractual violations coco’s had made through time were getting only bigger. because of her the company even had conflict with two major broadcasting stations in korea because of her decision
of choosing her personal youtube channel schedules over pre-arranged broadcasting programs offered by the company is only one example. apparently coco only went to where more money flowed even if it meant overstepping what was agreed on contract
even after that, the company decided to keep supporting her career as an entertainer providing her a manager, transportation and relevant expenses
Coco herself asked for a CocoSori comeback the company was in a financially difficult situation, that’s why they decided to start a kickstarter campaign for mi amor [here they also thank the fans who supported cocosori, found it cute] time passes and fans assumed that
that the pledges from kickstarter would cover all the expenses for a project when it reality the earning from it are never a total cost of a project.
because of the company financial situation the pledges from kickstarter would cover everything from song production to music show appearances and performances
right when mi amor’s promotion activéis ended coco expressed her intention of not being a professional singer anymore, she never really explained why but the company accepted it. even tho she said that, a few months later coco brought the unexpected new to her company that
she received a great song and she wanted it to be her comeback, the company ignored the fact that she said she wasn’t going to be a singer anymore and pursued her wish by recording/mastering the song
again; the company knew it wasn’t going to be a hit nor bring a lot of $$ to them but still did it and respected her decision since she’s kind of important for them.
however, coco decided to change the song to another one when the recording of the original song was already completed....
and that’s when sugar cake came
the company started a kickstarter for her but, as i said before, it doesn’t pay for all the things in the project. the total of sugar cake’s project ended up being way more than what coco said it would be and the things about her and her friends having to do everything
without de company’s support just wasn’t true. coco wanted everything the way she demanded to be and as with Wishy Washy the result was an additional expense more than the original so as a result the company was left with no choice other than paying for it lmao
now, about the fact that “sori’s solo was kept a secret from coco”.....
just like the company did not disclose Coco’s debut as a solo with sori, they did not disclose Sori’s debut as a solo with coco. it isn’t an obligation for the company to disclose individual artist’s plans to anyone else other than the artist herself

coco stated that the company’s poot management of dealing with her cds derived problems while she fulfilled all her responsibilities. in reality, the cds were sent to everyone a long time ago and only te of them came back unclaimed because of incorrect addresses

the actual complication with the rewards was due to coco continuously postponing to provide fan services such as shooting video messages so much that it took longer than three months to acopmplish it. one of the fan services (the skype video chatting with fans) still hasn’t
happened in spite of the company’s effort of coordinating a good time with fans and so, that’s why it hasn’t been accomplished yet
coco doesn’t seem to have time to commit on rewards for her fans who supported her even while she has meeting with fans abroad without notifying the company and selling her cds without disclosing quantities of cds or the financial gains from it, this is too a breach of contract
Coco has recently been working on her own as an interviewer with @Koreaboo without giving any prior notification to the company. she has engaged in defamation creating a negative imagine of the company and sori for the past four months
later on they let know that they are aware of the image that kpop companies usually have among fans with them exploting the artist and the idols being the victims and they understand that they have fault for coco being public they way she did...
however even tho they don’t have that much money as other companies, they have always made their best to put their artists and their fans before profit. Because coco makes her posts on social media in english, she thinks she has more influence on the public and can make
the company look like the bad guy and she’s the victim
they finish it by saying that there would be no more cocosori promotions in the future. and “just as coco has stated in her own words, we will do our best until justice is served” iconic.
now, this is the last thing we have from both coco and the company. from now on i’m gonna be showing some things could or could not be true along with some facts and my own thoughts.
coco is friends with edward avila, a youtuber who’s well known for being misogynistic and always sexualizing wonho as well as attacking kyla if i’m not mistaken. she used to be friends with Ashley from ladies code but apparently she took distances from coco…
coco has always had a reputation of being fake and using people. In several vlogs, Avila has teased Coco about acting fake/nice in front of the camera, and she definitely acts super sweet in her own channel
however, sori is one of the most hardworking idols you will ever see. she’s always making gifts for her fans, uploads a lot of covers, videos on her youtube channel every week, talks to us, interacts with us a lot, she has been through a lot but has never given up on her dreams
sori works a lot and when i say a lot it’s A LOT
