I'ma start a thread called "Adventures of Putting Together House Shit with No Man: A Story of Trial, Error, Frustration, and Home Depot"

I ordered a shoe rack. It was supposed to be a charcoal color, but all I saw was brown when I opened the box. I wish it was a man that ordered it so that I could tell him he can't do shit right. Instead, I just have to sit here and feel sorry for myself.

Update: I finally set up the shoe rack. Probably took an extra 30 minutes just because I was too busy sulking in the pit of my despair over it not being the right color. I've decided to spray paint it if/when I get annoyed with the current color

Idk why simple shit like this gives me anxiety. I wish I had hoes to put these things together for me. But alas...I'm hoeless

I think the lesson I learned today is very relevant to men. They be fucking up. But - sometimes - they really be trying.

Got a couple things to tweak (plus buy a new light fixture ), but overall.... I likes it!

I had a serious shoe shopping problem after I first graduated.

Went to Home Depot to get the bolts to attach my headboard to the rails. Dude was like "They're on aisle 9.... You sure you know what you're looking for???"

Whhhyyyy TF I got to aisle 9, and it's 50-11 THOUSAND NUTS & BOLTS?!?!

And my gate stopped working. And one of the HVAC systems doesn't blow cold air (praying it just needs coolant).

Fuck. Me. Twice.

Update: Fixed my gate by myself (for the most part......it just won't close all the way now ). Random wires weren't connected with my a/c Paid $60 for him to figure that out & connect them within the span of 10 minutes. At least he was fine AF tho.

Reupholstered my keyboard chair this morning, too. A big been productive. All I need now is to wash my car & finish my taxes

My back yard is starting to look like Fern Gully. If I don't find somebody to cut this shit soon, the mosquitoes gone carry me off to glory.
