Who wants a thread of sounds I didn't know existed until I got my hearing aids and sounds I don't like or don't understand
1. Air conditioners. This is one of the first weird sounds I noticed when I went to school with my aids and I was SO CONFUSED I thought there was a bomb I was like what is that construction noise, I still hate them WHY IS AIR LOUD
2. Showers/water, did not know that showers were the same as when rain pelted your house, still can't hear showers while I'm in them woops
3. Fans. Especially the little clicky metal parts. Sometimes I'm still confused because some of them sound DIFFERENT?
4. Elevators, that weird whooshing sound of air and the fact that the buttons dinged like wow why do they need to ding if we can see them also
5. Cats purring, I heard a meow before my aids but the purring sound fascinates me still it's a vibration but it's a sound but?
6. Keyboards and the dumb clacking
Nathan is offended because "I like that clacking sound"
8. When rubber makes that squeaky little sound when stuff rubs together (why is it so loud why are shoes loud)
9. The humming sound of the fridge and the sound of the ice maker
10. Bird songs, crickets, and CICADAS. First time I went camping after getting them I had no clue how loud bugs were
