What I've learned in just over three years of failing forward https://twitter.com/Oyiin_Bee/status/1082149508417536000
The only thing you're (almost) fully in control of is the quality of your work.
Make a lot of mistakes, ask a lot of questions. But with time, mistakes should go down and the quality of your questions should go up
You're the CEO of your own career, be strategic. Think long term, plan, network etc
When people say you're smart, don't believe them because at some point they'll say you're stupid and you shouldn't believe that either
Feedback is crucial. Get comfortable with taking negative feedback and working on it
There's nothing wrong with going for break, packing your bags immediately it's closing time, or not doing any work outside of working hours.

(As long as the quality of your work is up to standard and you meet your deadlines)
Don't work for a company whose product you wouldn't buy and don't work for a boss you wouldn't want to become.
It's not imposter syndrome if you don't know the work. Go and learn the work
You can get pretty far by bluffing, playing politics, connections, sounding confident etc but eventually you'll have to learn the work
It's important to know the work. It's also important to sound/look like you know the work and they aren't always the same thing
Over rated: intelligence, talent, creativity, passion

Under rated: discipline, reliability, consistency
The reward for good work is more work
