February 18th, 2011: Chiarelli acquires Tomas Kaberle in exchange for a 1st, 2nd, and Joe Colborne. That 1st round pick ended up as Rickard Rakell

July 4th, 2013: Chiarelli trades Tyler Seguin + Rich Peverley in exchange for Loui Eriksson + Reilly Smith + Joe Morrow, just because Seguin didn’t “fit into the culture”

June 26th, 2015: With his first trade as the new Oilers GM, Chiarelli trades the 16th and 33rd overall picks of the 2015 draft for Griffin Reinhart. At 16th overall, Matt Barzal was selected, while players such as Kyle Connor, Brock Boeser, and Thomas Chabot were available

February 27th, 2016: Chiarelli moves out Justin Schultz for only a 3rd round pick. The player drafted has still not signed a professional contract

June 29th, 2016: The trade is one for one. Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson

July 1st, 2017: Milan Lucic is signed to a 7 years, $6M AAV contract

June 22nd, 2017: Chiarelli trades Jordan Eberle for Ryan Strome

June 23rd, 2017: Kris Russell is extended to a 4 year, $4M AAV contract
