1. If you are interested in travelling abroad to make money and to hustle generally, your best shot is a student visa. And i’ll give you this for free, regardless of your educational background, Undergraduate is your best shot, guarantees longer visa.

2. If anyone has ever advised you to travel abroad on a visitors visa, that when you get there, you’ll be able to stay longer by applying for school or work upon arrival, it’s not true.Your status can never be changed from visitor to student or worker. You’ll have to go back home

Good morning peeps. 2019 is a year of possibilities, you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. Don’t let cost or uncertainties deter you, that dream Must come true, regardless of your current situation, just START! Take a step.

I promised to share tips from the first of January. I live in the Republic of Cyprus, Eastern Europe. So most of my tips will be centered around how to get into this beautiful country.

When choosing a country to move to, look out for the following.
1. Cost of living
2. Standard of living
3. Visa refusal or acceptance rate
4. How strict immigration laws are

The other day i was talking about needing just 5 documents to get both admission and visa to study in the Republic Of Cyprus.
1. Waec/university transcripts/Degree certificate
2. International Passport (valid for at least 2 years)
3. Medicals
4. Police clearance
5. Bank docs

Usually there are two stages you would need to deal with when applying for a study visa. You’ll have to deal with the school first (most important) and then deal with the migration department of the country.

What i mean is, you’ll need to get admission first before you can have the go ahead to begin a visa process. Once admission is granted, you are comfortably half way to achieving your dreams. Admission means the school has accepted for you to move to the country.

Now for Visa, you’ll need to prove 3 important things
1. That you are healthy and carry no communicable diseases (Medicals)
2. That you have never been convicted of a crime in your home country (Police clearance certificate)
3. That you are financially stable (Bank docs)

Republic of Cyprus (popularly known ad South) is under the European Union (EU). Studying in a country under the EU, bound by bilateral agreements with other EU countries is very advantageous for you.

With Cyprus under the EU, there is room for students to travel to other countries via paid Erasmus internship programs. Some of these countries eventually retain students who do well during Internships. So if Cyprus is just a stepping stone for you, here’s your chance.

Cyprus is not a schengen state, but the Erasmus program is a gateway to many other countries. And various schools and colleges out here offer Erasmus programs.

Another very important point, don’t wait till a semester almost starts before beginning your admission application. For example if you want to be here first quarter of 2019, you should have admission by now and already start getting visa documents.

I’ll tell you this, the cost of travelling to Cyprus for an undergraduate program is 3million naira. This costs covers admission, visa, compulsory basic travel allowance, accommodation and ticket. I’m putting this out here because people dm and straight up ask for total cost.

However do you know 500,000 naira out of this total cost gets you to the stage of visa application submission? Meaning, with 500k, you’ve literally finished everything. Just left for you to pay tuition and get your visa approved. People get scared by costs and never start at all.

Do you know Certain schools in the Republic of Cyprus offer significant reductions in tuition fees from second year? Some schools go from 3500 euros first year to 2000 euros second year. Facts only.

Tip for today. Visa to Republic Of Cyprus is issued from the Republic of Cyprus. This means there is no visa interview, visa is strictly based on submission of correct documents, no prejudice,nobody refuses you a visa because they don’t like your face. Take your chance.

The Holidays are over, but students in Nigeria are still at home because of ASUU strike.These strikes have been occurring since i was a kid. The cost of staying at home without education is more than the cost of studying abroad. Be wise today, talk 2 ur sponsors. Choose CY .

Many countries around the world especially the UK require you to leave immediately after your studies, some even escort you to the airport lol. It’s not the same in the Republic of Cyprus. The immigration laws are not as strict. Nobody forces you to leave after your studies.

When granted student work permit in Cyprus, a student is able to earn 18 times the minimum wage in Nigeria. Think about it.

You want to get to Europe (Republic of Cyprus) by August/September, i’m still your guy. The time to start is now. Money is the major factor but then again if you don’t have international passport, a good result and motivation, money won’t do much. Thanks

On the 10th of May 2019, A bill was passed in the Republic of Cyprus which enables students work in any industry, especially industries within their course of study. Minimum wage remains €800 a month.

If your fear was/is how to sustain yourself while studying, this is a welcome development. Don’t joke with it. Studying and working at the same time is a dream come true.
