I can't say enough how incredibly frustrating it is to work as hard as I do and have people reduce your success down to gender.

Here are some scary stats for you misogynists.

80% of my audience on YouTube is male, and 81% of watch time comes from men 18-34.

Women make up a VERY small % of "Twitch Tip" vid consumption.

A 2015 study of gender on Twitch by @moblordTV &co states women avg viewership increase being 1/10 of a mans in the same time period, top-2500 women having 1/3 the avg viewers of a man's stream, and women being around 20% of total streamers.

If you've ever seen my stream, you know negativity and trolling never get to me. It's so easy to ignore garbage. But the difference here is that these people actually think this way.

This is why women (and especially women of color, disability, and the LGBTQ+) can't get ahead.

We have to work 100 times harder to get just as far. And let comments like these roll off our backs because "they are just trolling" and "we should just ignore it".

I can handle it for myself, but my sisters have to deal with this too and that makes me incredibly angry.

I hope male YouTubers&streamers appreciate not having to deal with this (aka your privelage).

Why should I keep making videos if 80% of the people who watch them will always consider my advice less-than compared to a male YouTuber saying the exact same thing?

There are some really trash takes on here demonizing sexy women (not ok) and getting into reverse racism (wtf?). I'm gonna go ahead & ignore ya'll.
