So last week I promised that I would write about Johan Rupert & also why I found myself shedding a tear at Wits. The Rupert story is almost ready for publication but I am verifying a couple of facts hence the delay. But when it comes to the @WitsUniversity story, here& #39;s a thread.

So in this picture are 2 individuals who have had a profound impact in my life - for different reasons.

Their names are Lindani Myeza and Harina Ndaba.

It all started 8 years ago when I found a message on my Facebook wall...

I had studied at @UKZN from 2003 to 2006. Those were the best years of my life. Discovered life, love, sex, sexuality, Flaming Lamborghinis at News Cafe, Sizwe Ntuli & Lloyd Radebe& #39;s TTs (Toyota Tazz) - when they had fuel, and Florida Road. But also, I was a tutor on campus...

At the end of 2006, @UKZN had the great academic/finance/sex scandal involving the VC Professor Makgoba, Vincent Maphai, Kanthan Pillay the CFO, Pumela Msweli-Mbanga, Lindsay Mitchell and a Masters in Tax degree that should have never been awarded...

Then I got dragged in.
