the not-so-light sides of numerology placements | thread
just feeling called to expand on this because i’m really in a zone, thinking about numbers, how beautiful they are, how light and dark they are and can be. and just want to share.
don’t know how long this thread will be because i’m just flowing.
number 1.

the number 1 is the beginning (not counting zero, the TRUE bad bitch). because of this, 1 energy is explosive and new (which is why i also assign the number 1 to aries and not just leo). 1 is the beginning of the numerical journey.
1 placements often have this crushing sense of individualism and it isn’t until 2 comes along that 1 realizes that their individuality is a gift not a burden. a big thing for 1s to realize is that they do not HAVE to be alone even if they choose to be.
growing up, 1 placements can experience a lot of control and power struggles. children with 1 placements (mainly life path, soul, and/or personality) experience the overwhelming drive to do for themselves. if they are born to parents without 1s in their numerology, this is hard.
men with 1 placements sometimes experience issues with their fathers, especially if their fathers also have 1 placements. they butt heads. an emotional conflict with 1 placements is the urge to rebel, even when they are not being controlled.
people with 1 personalities tend to struggle finding a common ground. they can be stuck in their ways, which makes relationships and friendships difficult. because no relationship works without finding common ground to stand on.
1 placements often have this “me against the world” mentality that is, well, an illusion. because 1 is the beginning, they fail to see that they came to pave the way, not break away from it. existing in this world is not something they recognize as a choice their spirit made.
1s can also be fickle. they are known to be relationship junkies, hopping from relationship to relationship because they are not looking to relate with another person but instead dominate and sometimes control. they tend to pair with 2s and 6s.
number 2.

2 is the feminine, moon energy that comes along to pair with the masculine, sun energy of 1. 2 is the first reminder — that we do not exist in this space alone. that i exist because you exist and i can recognize something that is outside of myself (and also me).
1 and 2 are each others mirror. 2 comes to bring us back to the element of water and the inner expression — heavily tied to the emotions and the intuition. 2 is the peacemaker, the intermediary. beyond duality, 2 is for diplomacy.
2s want for everyone and everything to be in balance, often to their detriment. 2, 6, and 9 share many similarities — the sacrifice, the martyrdom, etc.
2 STRUGGLES with boundaries.
for 2, the shadow is presented more internally than externally. 2, in general, is considered a “rare” number in the numerology chart, especially for the generation of millennials. the mastered energy of 2 (11) is more common.
2s tend to grow up in environments where there is a lot of competition — the separation illusion: you are different than i am so now we need a reason to highlight our differences.

parents of 2s tend to be emotionally withdrawn or manipulative and harsh.
2 highlights the maternal wound, the “mommy issues” and the disconnected feminine energy. if you’re a 2 (or 11) life path or soul, did you feel that your mother:

a) harbored resentment for her life and transferred it to you?

b) tried to live through you?

c) both
2s and 11s internalize and internalize and keep internalizing. as natural peacemakers and problem solvers, they never want to speak up in fear of becoming the problem that now needs solving.
but this breeds resentment and anger. 2s and 11s tend to be the victims of vicious rumors and bullying because they are not known for defending themselves, but instead remaining silent to “keep the peace”.
another internalized shadow element for 2s and 11s is indecisiveness and crippling fear. they tend to hesitate making decisions or yield their power of choice to someone they view as more powerful than themselves (see: entering relationships with 1s).
they (2s and 11s) are self-critical in a way that is not self-aware but instead self-deprecating and self-sabotaging.
THIS THREAD IS A DRAG!
and i’m only on 2. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
number 3.

the energy of the child. the embodiment of united masculine and feminine energy. the opener to authenticity, creation, and expression.
in terms of elemental energy, 3 is air, which makes it scattered. the main hurdles for 3 placements: doubt and discipline. 3s are natural creatives and artists, communicators, and the like.
they know of the immense power that comes from creating so they try to get out of it any way they can. they don’t find themselves worthy so they procrastinate or even worse, subconsciously influence themselves through doubt.
because 3 is a number of communication, they are gifted speakers, and in shadow, gifted manipulators and skilled liars. they know how powerful words are in our dimension (3D) so they know how to make words weapons.
personality 3s are especially notorious for this which is why personality 3 is one of my favorite placements because i see the range and potential. actors, politicians, and comedians all tend to have one or several 3 placements on their numerology. this isn’t coincidence.
3 can either be beautifully balanced or wildly destructive. 3 placements tend to gossip more than other placements (but they all gossip, let’s be clear).
in communication, 3s can be very witty and sarcastic, but sometimes lack the tact needed to convey a message. 3 placements are called “mean” “savage” or “heartless” at least once in this life.
diving deeper into heaviness and shadow, because 3 is the number of creative energy, it is naturally a number of sexual energy. and 3 placements tend to have internalized shame surrounding sex and creation due to religious upbringing, instances of abuse, etc.
this in turn influences the doubt they have about creating in general. 3 placements are masters of beginning a project and never finishing.
number 4.

the movement into physicality is experienced with 4, the number of structure, order, stability, earth. hard work and perseverance are mantras engrained into 4, but this doesn’t come without its trials.
individuals with 4 placements often grew up in households with working parents, and sometimes, working parents that were also emotionally unavailable. as a result, 4 (and 22) placements grow up treating their emotions as an after thought.
i give the number 4 (and 22) to earth signs, but it can also be a very prominent number for Aquarians.
4 is much like 1 — they dominate in physical space and tend to like to be in control, often not yielding to someone else’s contributions.
going back for a second, the upbringing involving a workaholic parent or caregiver can breed immense resentment to the point that it is triggered and resurfaces in adulthood, causing the individual with 4 (and 22) placements to sabotage their own success.
they sabotage their own success because they have internalized that working and success will drive them further away from the connections they’ve built. they want to be busy but don’t understand the balance between busy and leisure. so they opt out entirely.
just as 1s are relationship hoppers, 4s (and 22) are job and opportunity hoppers. moving from place to place trying to find love in work rather than doing work they love. when the moment arises for a great opportunity, they, like 3, doubt that they don’t deserve it. & sabotage.
rinse and repeat.
4 (and 22) placements, if they do pursue the work they are after, they are diligent and hard workers, but often reach a plateau of satisfaction, which causes a crash. should a 4 (or 22) reach the success they want and then feel displeased with it, they break down.
workaholism takes 4 (and 22) away from ease and leisure. they often view work as something that HAS to be done always or else they feel useless, like they have no purpose. they view moments of rest as laziness and tend to punish themselves for it.
number 5.

the free little bird. the sister of 3. the mirror of god. where physicality comes to form.
freedom, change, and scatter.
5 is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful numbers (i think they are all beautiful, but 5 just has that umph).
even though 5 is a number of change and evolution, individuals with 5 placements tend to struggle with it. they tend to view change as a deviation from freedom, when that could not be further from the truth. in fact, the ability to change is an element of freedom.
https://twitter.com/viriyaakarunaa/status/1071847680815566849?s=21
5s can be averse to change because this means they’d have to address where they need to change, and much like 6, they struggle with perfectionism.

on the other side, 5s can change so much as a method of avoidance. 5s deal with attachment issues.
for the 5 with an aversion to change, change is seen as a threat to comfort (and sometimes a threat to the stagnancy that the 5 has gotten comfortable with). for the 5 that loves to keep changing, they rarely attach a purpose to change.
soul and personality 5s tend to change their hair often or more drastic, they change their physical locations often.
the attachment issues that 5 placements experiences are deeply rooted in fear or lack. 5 placements struggle with allowing themselves to feel close to other people because people do what? change.
and this change makes a 5 uncomfortable because they think someone else making a choice to change means a change of heart or mind may also be coming. they jump to the conclusion that someone changing means they’ll be left or abandoned. so they avoid attaching altogether.
but 5 wants to be attached and grounded in some sort of energy, but they don’t want attachments that limit their freedom. which is why 4 and 5 are balancing partners, and i constantly say this.
number 6.

oh love. oh heart. oh the wonders of this original number of perfection.
6 is a number of acceptance, discernment, love languages, judgment, idealism, perfectionism, and reflection. and in all of these, a conflict can appear. these are the lessons of 6 placements.
6s (and 33s) have the tendency to keep up appearances -- they are those that would rather appear to be a good persona rather than internally face where they lack in order to change. 6s also deal with a lot of projection.
no matter here 6 (or 33) is in the numerology chart, a main hurdle is overcoming the imperfections in others. when 6 meets a new person, they project their idealistic views on them and run the risk of being very disappointed when said human makes a mistake aka, is human.
the idealism of the 6 (and 33) is necessary because it balances the energies of numbers like 1 and 4 and helps us to avoid becoming nihilistic or pessimistic. but 6s (and 33s) can be idealistic to the point of delusion.
6s (and 33s) struggle with connecting their idealistic views to reality in a way that serves others in an effective and real way. there is nothing wrong with being imaginative and a big dreamer, but when none of your dreams serve your reality, what is their purpose?
6s (and 33s) tend to live by the mantra "live and let live as a means to excuse away why they refuse to be discerning and use judgement. it's a form of escapism.
by living by "live and let live" 6s (and 33s) excuse away behaviors that need attention and correcting, but like 2, they don't like static. 6s (and 33s) are deeply sensitive and would rather other people be happy while they suffer.
6s (and 33s) are notorious complainers. they complain about never having help, all the while overextending themselves and not taking time to enforce clear boundaries.
6s (and 33s) sometimes have a hard time forming meaningful and lasting relationships because they are too busy focusing on maintaining an idealistic projection of their partner(s) and see no real use in denying themselves of their fantasy.
6s (and 33s) struggle with perfectionism and are the type to do something wonderfully 500 times but OBSESS and punish themselves the first time they make a mistake. it is revealed here why they 'say' they do not judge others. too busy judging themselves.
6s (and 33s) can become so focused on projecting perfection onto others that they forget (and subsequently become super disappointed) that the world and individuals within it are imperfect. (aka, detaching from the REALITY of imperfection).
number 7.

the number people stan for. the number of mystery, truth, wisdom, spiritual completion.
7 is here to reveal what has always been true, but being a truth seeker and speaker is a huge responsibility in a world that thrives off of illusion. individuals with 7 placements are often those that feel that they are “too good” to be here.
individuals with 7 placements not only tend to feel that they are too good to be here, but much like 1, they feel like they’re alone here. 7s are infamous introverts. this isn’t a secret.
life, soul, and personality (and by extension birth day) 7s experience heavy shadow elements, often more than the other numbers, because they willingly choose shadow work and silence. so in isolation, they dig.
7s, more than any other numbers, are prone to depression, and above all other numbers, are those that experience suicidal ideation (or even further, attempt and/or successfully commit suicide). this is heavy (and i’m sorry).
this is because 7s feel that they know the truth of this world and the truth includes an IMMENSE amount of pain. and as a way to escape that pain, they view leaving the physical as a solution. but pain, like all things, is energy.
7 is the most common karmic lesson, and this isn’t coincidence or accident. it’s a message to confront the truth of this world, including its pain, so that it can be transformed, not avoided and subsequently recycled.

7 is also what? a number of peace.
7s are also secretive in a way that can be detrimental. they also struggle with reaching out for help. 7s, like 2s, 6s, and 9s, give themselves the responsibility of saving everyone else. no one asked them to.
7s share a pattern with 3s and 4s — they tend to talk themselves out of their ideas or overthink them to the point that they discard them entirely. self-doubt and self-distrust are the main hurdles for 7s. further, trust in general is a struggle for 7s.
7s feel that they’ve realized the utimate truth so they don’t trust that someone else can mirror this truth. in a way, 7s are snobbish know-it-alls that take pride in being knowledgeable and alone even though they are secretly lonely af.
7 placements (especially personality 7) can view vulnerability with other human beings as a weakness. as such, 7s are the most likely to not have many (or any) true friends. because relationships DO require vulnerability and trust.
number 8.

our reminder of cycles and power. 8s have hurdles that are similar to the number 1. the beginning and the repeat.
8, as a physical number and a number of abundance, is naturally a number associated with money and materialism. 8 placements are concerned with power, money, status, and image.
in our reality, money grants you power, not empowerment.
and this is a lesson for 8s to master. that the kind of power and influence that money grants you is tied to THIS reality ... but the spirit is infinite (8, the lemniscate). so they have to learn that being poor is not a failing or reflection of their personal power.
8s and 3s are two numbers that experience intense numerical discord because both of their shadow elements include manipulation. 8s try to manipulate your will, 3s try to manipulate your mind. so they compete.
8s, much like 1s, have an issue with relinquishing control. 8 is the number of both Scorpio and Saturn. (when i assign 8 to the signs, it belongs to Scorpio and Capricorn).
8s feel that power is the ultimate accomplishment, even if it means screwing over other people to get it.
with “angel” numbers, 88 can be used to invoke dark energies. this has been seen with 1488.
88 is a subtle code for “heil hitler” (H as the 8th letter of our alphabet). which is why it is important to discern, analyze, and feel numerical energy and not just take it at surface.
further, because 8s care about image, they can lose themselves trying to impress people who don’t genuinely care about them. celebrities often have at least one 8 placement in their numerology. with abundance and wealth (8) does come other issues.
8 is one of the most powerful numbers in numerology, along with 0, because these are the only numbers that are closed. the lemniscate and zero are written with no separate portions. closed numbers are resolute and whole. 0 is the void, the premanifest, the everything.
closed numbers are resolute and whole. 0 is the void, the premanifest, the everything. 8 as the infinite, the never ending.
8 is also the number of karma and as such, 8s can feel burdened by this. they feel as though karma is punishment rather than what it really is: an infinite cycling of energy.
number 9.

the first round of completion before the next evolution. will reiterate today’s previous tweets here.
9, as a number of service, also highlights the themes of empathy, boundaries, burdens, enmeshment, guilt, sacrifice, and worry. though it is different from 5, they are very similar, which is where their conflict arises.
in shadow, 9 is prone to excess. 9 feels so burdened with the load of the collective that they turn to escapism. freedom and escapism are often confused for the same thing. escapism is freedom from heaviness that comes with being connected to the collective.
9 wants to save everyone and when they realize that they can't, it shatters the illusion -- almost like the shattered illusion 6 experiences when they come to view this reality as imperfect. it is to be noted that 6 and 9 are numerical mirrors.
with escapism, 9 placements (especially life path and soul) may have an affinity for drugs, alcohol, or other emotionally disrupting and numbing substances. 9 realizes escapism isn't freedom, especially when the escape is just to another form of dependency.
going further, 6 and 9 are love frequencies. on the flip side of that, the shadow of 9 is one of the most vicious because it includes apathy -- which can arise when they realize that they can't save anyone so they stop caring altogether.
9s can tie their identities to service to the point that they feel useless if they can't do something for someone else (while completely neglecting themselves). this is much like 4s (and 22s) feeling useless if they cannot work.
9 is also a number of empathy and many people who identify as "empaths" (even though we are all empathic) have prominent 9 (and 6) placements. 9s can struggle heavily with boundaries, feeling complete RESPONSIBILITY for someone else's emotions -- making 9s prone to selfishness.
to view someone's emotions as your responsibility because their emotions make you uncomfortable is a form of selfishness and a subtle way of viewing someone as powerless.
