WAY too many accounts have surfaced in search of a 'pedophilic community'. these accounts take under the acronyms MAP/NoMAP
meaning Minor Attracted Person.
these people, from teens to elder

adults, see no issue in being someone who is attracted to minors.
though many of these accounts may say "no-contact MAP" in their bios, there is no certainty for your safety if they choose to follow/lurk your accounts.

- the use of the word pedophile (a given)
- the use of "aoa" with numbers following.
ex: aoa 2-7
aoa stands for ages of attraction
many of these people are not afraid to start

arguments, disputes, n directly attack people (such as myself) who are spreading awareness about this new surge of pedophiles on twitter.

though clearly not everyone who uses it is a pedophile, be weary of those that you see who use it in their bio, dn, location, etc.

MINORS: please, try to be careful with accounts that may approach you that seem anything relatively like this. or even seemingly innocent accounts that approach you asking about your age, talking about your photos ("you look really pretty here, you should post more!"), things
of that nature. these are red flags of predators contacting you and potentially setting you up for 'grooming'. if someone talks to you about your age and tells you they're in your age range, keep a close eye on their accounts and how they speak. ive been privately told by victims
that some accounts like these, and innocent seeming predators, have been lying about their age, name, etc, in order to get close to you.

NOTE: im aware not all MAPS/CAPS/etc are "contact" based accounts, and you may come at me for alluding that they are, but with a thread like this with so much traction, its important to warn and educate minors and adults alike about those who MAY become predators.
