Magical Puzzle Popils is not only one of the greatest GameGear games, but one of the greatest puzzle games of all time. With 100 levels and autosaving. This game is fast pace and offers a lot of depth, it even has a build your own level option. It's insane! Deserves a port badly!
Circuit's Edge is an RPG game of a private investigator down on his luck and barely earning a living. While performing a petty delivery job, he finds his client dead. After a mafia boss is able to get him off the hook of murder, he must investigate what may be a larger scheme.
Circuit's Edge honestly got such a nice style. They add a lot of adventure game elements to it, and has kick ass music. You even gotta eat, drink, buy hacking stuff and all that shit. This cyberpunk game is based on George Alec Effinger's "When Gravity Fails"

If anyone where to ask me what's the best NES game of all time, I will always say Mr. Gimmick. It is not only the tightest platformer with the best design levels on the console. But it has the best visuals and music with pretty bonkers AI for bosses. 100% play this game now!
GleyLancer has one of the best ost on the sega genesis and one hell of a good Shoot em up. This megadrive exclusive has a badass anime opening cutscene, fast pace gameplay, and all you could love. It's not the best of the genre on the console but finding it on wiiware was a treat
Sheep Raider is one of the best video game license game ever. It's a puzzle game where you try to get sheep. The visuals are nuts for a playstation 1 game, the animation is slick, and the great puzzles. Watch Cinemassacre (Mike) review, also the music is legit just legendary!
"D" is one of the most interesting horror games I have ever played for the Saturn (also PS1 and 3DO). It is the first fully CGi video games coming out on the same day as Toy Story. It plays like myst being a point and click, but there isn't much gameplay.

Yggdra Union is easily the best fire emblem clone I've came across. This PSP game by atlus is hard as nails but it's fair most of the times with it's design. It has a fun story and really pushes it's genre. The visuals are crazy good and a great game on the go. (PSP > GBA)
Binary Domain is a squad base 3rd person shooter made by the yakuza guys.. This game is bursting personality, a fun world, and tight gameplay. One of the best games from the 7th generation of gaming for the PS3. It's a real hybrid of Western and Japanese ideology. Fun all around.
Voodoo Vince is a game that's finally got some traction after all these years, but I will do what ever to shill this game. This was phil spencer first directed game, this is one of the most polished 3D platformer of the 6th generation.

Tom and Jerry N64 is probably the best license cartoon fighter. This is a blast to play with friends & pretty addicting as well. There is several characters from the franchise and you can use objects in the background as weapons, while also destroying them. Plays like powerstone!
Tom & Jerry - War of the Whiskers for PS2/Xbox/Gamecube was pretty much a sequel to the N64 original. Now with more characters, costumes, 4 players, more weapons, more hazards, more stages that are pretty big in size, and far more content.

Do you like NBA jam on arcade, genesis / megadrive, SNES, or other platforms? Well Street Slam / Street Hoop / Dunk Dream is basically like a spiritual sequel to it for Arcade and NeoGeo, recently ported to the switch this game is an amazing SNK game literally no one talks about!
Can someone please make a remix outta Outrunners version of Last Wave. This remix is just so god damn funky! Lot of people don't actually know the original sequel to outrun was this pretty cool game, really want that fact to change.

Demon Crest is one of the over looked SNES games out there and one of the best on the console. While the previous games Gargoyle Quest 1 for GB and 2 for NES are defiantly nothing to sleep on.

Fatal Labyrinth is a sega genesis (megadrive) game design like a RogueLike Turn-Based RPG, with each movement or action the equivalent to one turn. This game is completely brutal but usually pretty fair. It's really cool their a hunger system in the game.

So COSMIC CARNAGE / CYBER BRAWL for the sega 32X was a game I found for 4 dollars at a comic book shop. I've played this game a ton when friends came over, everyone says this game is complete ass but I dunno how I can not love a stupid ass game like this. Music also rad AF.
Last Alert is a fairly boring, medicore game on the TurboGrafx-16 CD (or the PC-Engine CD in japan), but by far has one of the funniest English dubs in all of gaming, I quote a lot of these lines in this all the time. Honestly go on youtube and just watch the whole thing.

We Cheer 2 is a wii game made by Bandai Namco, my younger sister bought the game and loved it a lot, and for something for young girls seemingly shovel ware game that plays hit songs. Won't lie it's pretty damn fun, this is the obscure shit you want with Smash Mouth - All Star
Flower, Sun, and Rain was one of the most interesting games I've ever played for the DS, I went in knowing it was a suda51 game and it was originally a PS2 game only in japan, when suda was at his prime. Just found this waypoint video looking for info and it's so damn perfect.
Clash at Demonhead is an NES game I actually learn through Scott Pilgrim. With the comic, game, and movie all making reference of it. It's a quirky but has fun gameplay mechanics, an actual unique story, and lovable characters. The game huge with over 40 routes! (Jot notes/map)

Gunvalkyrie is a Xbox game that is one of the most unique action games I ever played. You have a jet pack that can go all directions, neat melee weapons, and a ton of guns. This is a sega title no one talks about, the big hurdle to get over is the controls. But damn is it fun!
Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors is a Hack n Slash game in the style of ninja gaiden or dynasty warriors. This is one of my favorite games on the the Original xbox made by FromSoftware. I'd recommend playing the first game before this one but the gameplay what you'd expect from them.
Deathrow is an xbox game that is sort of like a combat version of hocky. I remember playing this a bunch at a friends house, I wouldn't say it's age the best but it's honestly pretty fun playing with a friend for a few hours. I'd say it's more then the sum of it's parts.
Puppeteer on the Playstation 3 is the most unique 2D platformer on the console. The gameplay is similar to little big planet but the tools your given such as your scissors brings this whole extra layer to platforming and combat. The visuals are amazing and is very tightly design!
NINJA BLADE for the xbox 360 may be one of the most over the top games I ever played! FromSoftware made a spiritual successor to otogi by basically making Devil May Cry style with Ninja Gaiden 2 ape shit nature, words can't even describe this game is better off showing you!
In Celebration of ToeJam & Earl Back in the Groove. I wanna take some time to bring up ToeJam and Earl 3 / III on the original Xbox being a Rogue like 3D platformer, and also having one of the best character select screen in a video game.
Blazing Lazers on the TurboGrafx-16 is one of the best accomplishments on the console. It is easily one of the most space shooters on this over looked console on the west. This console has tons of them but this is easily the best, I don't see fans of the console talk bout it much
Dragon View on SNES is one of the best games on the console. It's a Beat em up RPG with exploration, fun ass combat, different weapons, and leveling up. The world map is a first person 3D view, while each dungeon is very unique from the rest. Even having a fair random encounter!
True Lies on the SNES is one of the best movie licence games on the console. We finally got an Arnold Schwarzenegger game that's actually good. This fun as hell top down shooter has no right to be good as it is. Weird the AVGN video left this bad boy out.
Mayhem in Monsterland for the Commodore 64 is the most graphically impressive C64 game. Interesting about this game is it came out 1993, one of the last games on it and it wasn't even sold on store shelves, it had to be mailed. This game has speed from Sonic with Taito Visuals!
King's Valley on the MSX is a popular konami game, but I want to shine attention for non MSX fans. A action puzzle game where you gotta get all the jewels in an area with lot of digging. hell the enemies with different color have different attributes like pac-man. Hella Addicting

Panzer Dragoon mini for Game Gear is a very over looked game from the franchise. More of an 8-bit demake of the original saturn game. Though this game is much easier then any other game in the franchise it's still a fun play, especially since the remake is coming to switch.
Yakuza Black Panther is one of my favorite games ever, made by the guys who made Def Jam compose by Hideki Naganuma. Now that Yakuza 0 is big everyone seem to talk about Ishin & Kenzen. This PSP classic gets screwed over by a shitty emulator, but it was the closest to the first 2
YU-NO for PC-98 is one of the most Unique visual novels I ever played, and defiantly a huge influence of so many games that came after it. With it's beyond insane art, it's atmospheric music, and unique story with branching paths. Be warned it's NSFW, but worth your time.
Night Striker S on the Sega Saturn is an over all badass game, I feel the footage itself can basically explain the raw power of this unit of a game. Reminds me a lot of after burner.
After a half a year, I have felt it is time to bring this back. Lets kick it off slow before I get the badass stuff. Crime Busters for the Atari 800 XL (8-bit Family) is a fairly unique game for it's time, with a bunch of unique game type modes like an NES game.
The best game on the Atari 800 XL (8-bit family) is by far star raiders 2. This game is the only one I spent well over 2 hours on. This is a first person space pilot game where it is fairly open ended with a bunch of task, the game may be tedious but the gameplay is open ended!
Pop'n tank is easily one of the best playstation 1 japanese only games. This game plays a lot like Virtua-On, 3d arena fighter vehicle based 1 on 1 fighting where you get supers, multiple unique play-style characters, and the ability to create your own tank! It even has a story.
THE CLIFFHANGER: EDWARD RANDY IS NOT A GOOD OR FAIR GAME! BUT MY FUCKING GOD THIS GAME GETS MY DICK ROCK HARD! THIS GAME ON ROM WITH INFINITE COINS MAKES IT THE BEST JOY RIDE EVER! THIS ASCENDS ARCADE GAMES! SHIT LIKE ONLY 30 MINUTES LONG! IT PLAYS LIKE CASTLEVANIA!
