Domhnall Gleeson's Filmography Ranked Based On His Screams: A Thread
He doesn't scream at all in The Little Stranger. He doesn't even raise his voice. An excellent performance in all other regards, but no screams, so 0/10.
In Peter Rabbit, he shouts a lot, but the scream is the best part. Very funny and over-the-top. 10/10.
No screams in A Futile And Stupid Gesture. Very disappointing, seeing Henry's curls shake as he screams would have been excellent. 0/10.
In The Last Jedi, there are no outright screams, but he does yelp and shout quite a bit. 5/10.
Another lovely performance in Goodbye Christopher Robin, but no screaming. 0/10.
Crash Pad is a treasure trove of weeping, shouting, and general noisemaking from Stensland. 7/10.
In mother! the eldest son announces his entrance with shouting. A terrific and exhilarating part, but he's rather vocally subdued while he's being physically violent, so 4/10.
Having only seen a few clips of American Made, I am not certain but can safely assume that Monty Schafer does not ever raise his voice. 0/10.
In The Tale of Thomas Burberry, he doesn't raise his voice either. 0/10.
For most of The Force Awakens, General Hux is subdued and speaks with an even tone. However, there is one outstanding scene that tips the scales. An entire monologue of shouting that culminates in a majestic scream! 11/10!
I have not seen Brooklyn, but I believe I can assume that there is no screaming. 0/10.
In Ex Machina, Caleb shouts at the end. No spoilers, but a solid 5/10.
I have not seen Frank, but I have seen the cast perform on The Colbert Report. If the delightful scream at 2:31 in https://vimeo.com/103259403  is in the film, then 8/10.
Dredd features the Clan Techie pleading for his life with the Judges and screaming in a flashback of Ma-Ma removing his eyes without anesthesia. Incredibly painful to witness, well done. 9/10.
Bill Weasley does not scream or shout in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Parts One and Two. Both films receive 0/10.
In True Grit, Moon has an excellent scream when his fingers are cut off. It borders on comedic, considering how over-the-top and high-pitched it is. A quality scream, but with a point docked because it is cut short by his death. 9/10.
Boy Eats Girl boasts an excellent scream from Bernard. A delight to listen to. 10/10.
If I've missed any screams of note, please let me know. The world must come to appreciate the artistry of the Domhnall Scream.
