میں تو کہتی ہوں یونہی رہنے دو درہم برہم
خوب لگتی ہے تیری زلف پریشاں ہو کر...!

Translation: Let the strand of your hair be tangled
It's beautiful when it get hassled like this

آیا تھا امتحان میں مضمون حسن پر
پرچے میں ہم نے چہرا تمہارا بنا دیا...

Translation: There was an essay on "Beauty" in exams
And I drew your face in the paper..!

زلفیں تیرے چہرے پہ ایسے بکھر رہی ہیں
کبھی صبح ہو رہی ہے، کبھی شام ہوہی ہے...

Translation:
You're hairs are scattering on your face
Like it seems as morning, and as evening it seems..

تیرے چہرے کی کشش تھی جو پلٹ کر دیکھا
ورنہ سورج تو پلٹ کر دیکھا نہیں جاتا...

Translation: It was the charm of your face that makes me turn back...
For the sun can't be seen again by turning back..

اگر ہوتا میرے بس میں ہٹا کر چاند تاروں کو
میں نیلے آسماں پر بس تیری آنکھیں بنا دیتی

Translation: if it was possible for me to remove moon and stars
I will draw your eyes in the blue sky instead

ستارے بام فلک سے اتر کے دیکھتے ہیں
زمیں زاد تجھے آنکھ بھر کے دیکھتے ہیں...!

Translation: Stars come down from the sky to see you..
People look at you with admiration in their eyes..

ممکن نہیں ہے تم کو لفظوں میں ڈھالنا
تم وسعتِ سخن سے بڑھ کر حسین ہو...!

Translation: it's not possible to describe you in words
You're more than the poetry can ever describe
