There are many models that you can use to be successful making money on twitter.

There are also many scales of money that you can make on twitter. Some people support themselves fully. Some people make an extra 1-2k a month.

You should first define what you wanna see.

The great thing about making money on twitter imo is something that I don’t think is talked about much.

Why I don’t know because it’s pretty simple. So simple that everybody can do it.

Twitter is great for making money because it’s easily scalable.

What models of making money is twitter good for?

Let’s start with affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is basically selling other people’s shit for a commission on the sale.

It’s normally between 5-50% of the product cost depending on if it’s physical or digital.

I think aff marketing is a great model for twitter.

Why? It’s easy to infotain on twitter.

Selling aff products is easy if you can infotain and it fits with what you normally do. I’ll give you an example.

Big theme that I wanna point out here is the use of video. Visuals are always good to get your point across and videos are really easy to watch on twitter.

I think that’s why this thread did so well.

If you can combine your information with an easily consumed medium,

Then you have a winning recipe for selling aff products directly on your tl with high engagement. It’s the same as regular marketing but you’re just adapting it to twitter style.

Not hard at all.

The great thing about aff marketing on twitter is that you don’t need a physical website to do it.

Just use your twitter page. It’s free digital real estate and one of the reasons why I think social media is great for generating more cash.

There’s no upfront cost.

Next model for using twitter to make money: building an email list.

Building an email list on twitter is really easy.

It’s also really smart. Why?

You get to create a focused audience that you can talk to everyday and build a genuine rapport with. When this happens you build trust. When you build trust, you get sales.

With how innanet censorship is going, I think it’s rather wise to build an email list because you can take that info anywhere.

Nothing would be worse than your twitter page getting the ban hammer from some feminazis that don’t like your tweets and you get sent to digital Hell.

Building an email list on twitter is very simple.

1) tweet out your list link with a call to action.

That’s it.

If you want to actually convert,
Try giving out some value with your link. People are much more likely to want to hear more from you.

My email list has 1300 organic subscribers and I’ve only been building it since March.

You can build a focused, committed tribe via email if you take the time to do it. I think it’s a very high roi thing to be doing.

It also teaches you to be a better writer and communicator.

The third model that I think my guy @joserosado has been doing an excellent job of capitalizing on: freelancing your skills.

Jose specializes in doing twitter headers. And he is killing the game.

He did my header and I’m really happy with it. Very very jiggy

Having useful digital skills that cater to twitters platform is a good to make a couple extra doll-hairs on here.

Good at graphic design? Make custom graphics for bigger accounts.

Good at copywriting? Ghost write tweets for people.

Good at editing? Make videos and memes.

Freelancing digital skills on twitter translates really well to getting some extra coins.

My guy @Nappyb0yy asked me to teach him how to make webinars.

I taught him how. He went and made over 50K in sales based on what I taught him.

You have a skill I’m sure. Put it out there.

The hardest model to make money off of twitter for is the phrase of the day every day: Personal Branding

If you think about it, everybody at the end of the day is a personal brand, but few will actually become a personal brand like we think about.

Why?

It’s hard. Dassit.

Why is it hard to have a personal brand?

You have to have accomplished something significant. Most people with personal brands on here are 27+. Why?

Larger chance that you’ve actually gonna through some real life shot and you can impart practical wisdom.

That’s the sauce.

Most people that are on twitter trying to monetize their personal brands are struggling.

Why?

They haven’t really done shit.

there’s nothing wrong with that. You just need to live more life or do some cool shit.

If people can find your experience in a book, why listen to you?

When you’re trying to get personal branding clout, authenticity is key.

Authenticity only comes from real life, in the trenches experience. Without that, your brand will continue struggling.

And that’s ok because honestly, everybody doesn’t need to be a personal brand.

Personal branding is also accompanied mostly with the products that are the hardest to sell initially, info products.

N00bs can do it, but it’s pretty hard. I think it’s easier to sell someone else’s shit first then venture off into selling your own info products.

People like info products because the margins are really high.

However, you gotta put out good products or you’re tanked before you even begin.

Because word of mouth will fuck you up. And that may as well be the kiss of death.

If you wanna have a profitable personal brand, you must:

Do some dope shit
Or
Live through some hard shit

Sprinkle in some of your personality and you got a winner

These are the models that I think are the most successful for twitter.

Everyone is capable of doing these. If you’re gonna be on the time line, you minus whale be making the most of your time.
