the bike to deliver the 10000 to the bike owner directly and since then the rider has been delivering directly to the owner. On the 6th week the bike owner didn’t see money nor the rider and decided to arrest the bus driver whom he gave the bike to. Upon the driver’s arrest....
He informed the police that he gave the bike to someone else and he can take them to the guy’s house.The police got to the rider’s house but he was no where to be found.The rider’s brother was home though and he testified that in truth the bus driver gave a bike to his brother...
But the driver has gone back to the north and he doesn’t know where the bus is! The police arrested the rider’s brother with the bus driver. At the police station the rider’s brother opted to pay back the outstanding 150000 for the bike and he paid 80000 naira immediately....
After paying 80000 naira he was released and the bus driver who has no money or anyone to bail him was taken to court and charged for Conspiracy to steal. Bus driver has never been to court, he doesn’t know anyone, he was scared and anxious! So when his charge was read to him...
He was asked if he was guilty or not he said he was guilty. Right there, facts were read, he was convicted and sentenced to five years!! He is presently at Ikoyi prison serving his term. We believe his case can be appealed against! We believe we can help him get out of prison!
He has no contact of any family and we believe the families whereever they might be might not know he is prison in Lagos. We have lots of inmates with similar cases that does not deserve to be in detention but for our justice system! If you are a lawyer, an activist....
