I’ll be rating Christmas movies all holiday season:
1. Merry Kissmass (Netflix)—9/10, just about everything you could want, just shy of an all time classic
2. Christmas Inheritance (Netflix OG) -6/10, perfect/classic story line with a less than physically appealing male lead
3. Holiday Calendar (Netflix)—10/10, checks every single box, a must see this Christmas season!
4. Christmas with a View (Netflix)—5/10, slow story line and lacking in Christmas magic
5. Christmas Crush (Netflix)—3/10, absolutely awful, terrible story line, super weird moments, and it drags, a no-go for sure
6. Christmas in the Smokies—2/10, FIRST of all blame @itscarrlllyy for me ever watching this shit in the first place, but terrible yeehaw ass plot, no follow through. 2 points brought to you by OTH’s Whitey and only him.
7. A Dogwalker’s Christmas Tale—5/10, suboptimal cuteness in the dog cast, very confusing story line, just doesn’t come together, also Aaron Samuels is no Gretchen Wieners in the Christmas Movie department
8. The Spirit of Christmas (Netflix)—8/10, very different! I have a lot of questions, but overall male lead is fineeeee and it’s not what you expect!
9. Angry Angel (Freeform)—8/10, quirky and engaging, not as corny as I like but a good change of pace, Brenda Song is also super hot
10. Holiday Joy (Freeform)—7/10, definitely adorable, hot dad, overall a good watch just needed a little more tinsel—my roommate demanded I mention there is a great locker scene that can’t be missed
11. 48 Christmas Wishes (Netflix)—5/10, good for the kiddos, truly adorable, and I cried at the end
12. The Princess Switch (Netflix OG)—10/10, First of all it is a literal/intentional Parent Trap script/plot, it’s got royalty, romance, secret handshakes, mistletoe, and absssss—must see!!!!!
13. The Christmas Chrinicles (Netflix OG)—10/10, SO GOOD! A NEW CLASSIC! Must watch ASAP! It’s EVERYTHING!
14. Christmas Wedding Planner (Netflix)—3/10, blah, lots of awkward silence, corny in a bad way not s Christmas way.
15. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding (Netflix OG)—5/10, the perfect example of why some (usually most) things just shouldn’t have sequels, spoiler alert: there’s a Congo line, easy skip I even fell asleep the first time
❄️🎄🎅🏻 It’s November 1 so here’s to Christmas 2019! 💚🎁❤️

I’ve made the move of logging into Live Hallmark via my boomer parent’s cable account, significantly broadening this year’s movie selection in the best way! Here we go!
1. The Nine Lives of Christmas (Hallmark)—10/10 WOW! What a way to kick off the season! IT HAS EVERYTHING! Badges with authoritative citations (the good kind, firefighters 😍), two adorable CATalysts, interior decorating!!!!!—this is going to be hard to top!
2. Let It Snow (Netflix)—7/10 Not your classic Christmas vibes, but cool for it. I’m not raving, but I’d watch it again? Solid ending which I very much appreciate.
3. Noelle (Disney+)—10/10, This one is all about breaking down gender stereotypes, and with such Christmas jolly my heart could barely take it! Wait until you meet Snowcone, he’s LITERALLY CURRY AS A REINDEER!Don’t wait another second, watch it right now!!!!!
4. Christmas Under the Stars (Hallmark)—6/10, it was cute, I love a good Christmas tree motif, but the romance was lacking in a pace as far as development and it was overall just kinda slow.
5. Santa Girl (Netflix)—0/10, hate to be the elf of bad news but this movie was straight coal. I barely even finished it. Don’t waste your time.
6. Holly Star (Netflix)—8/10, very different! A nice change of pace, super cute, and a good ending! Nothing like any other Christmas movie I’ve ever seen before!
7. Merry Happy Whatever (Netflix SERIES—10/10, this was so much fun to watch! A Christmas series? How cool! It’s so cute, and it’s set in (a) Philly (suburb) which has really adorable quirks that hit home. Definitely watch!
8. Holiday Rush (Netflix)—10/10, I cried like a baby. Everything really comes full circle, and super corny just the way I like it!
9. A Cinderella Story Christmas Wish (Netflix)—6/10, I might even be a little generous with the rating, it was okay nothing spectacular, I dozed off a few times, you can skip this one.
10. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby (Netflix)—3/10, I’ll be honest and say that I’m not the biggest fan of this franchise, but this movie was especially awful. Terrible storyline. Super weird. Not to mention a painfully inaccurate ultrasound part 🙄 Just really bad.
11. Snowed Inn Christmas (Amazon Prime)—10/10! I needed one to hit like this! Adorable storyline, Christmas Magic and even history, mystery—ugh, so good!
❄️🎄🎅🏻 Alright Christmas 2020—we got nothing but inside cozy time this season 💚🎁❤️
1. Jingle Jangle (Netflix)—10/10! Instant classic! Choreography and soundtrack are impeccable, we love to see real life representation for our youth. It’s got Hamilton vibes and I’m here for it!
2. Holiday Home Makeover with Mr. Christmas (Flix Series)—10/FREAKING 10! I am only on episode one but I’m pretty sure my fed agent personally consulted on this just for me. What’s better than interior design and Christmas? WATCH IT NOW WHILE YOU’RE STILL DECORATING FOR INSPA! ❤️
