The easiest one to sketch: Firoz Shah Kotla.
Agrasen ki Baoli made me very dizzy.
Yesterday was at Naubat Khana inside Red Fort. There was so much detail on the structure!
Sher Mandal in Purana Qila. The structure from which Humayun tripped and fell to his death.
Managed to fit the beauty of Jama Masjid on my little sketch book.
Imam Zamin’s tomb and Alai Darwaza stand short with the Qutub Minar towering over them.
After five months of not sketching, today morning was spent at Fatehpuri Masjid.
Afternoon at Mirza Ghalib’s tomb with Ghalib Academy in the background.
Zafar Mahal in Mehrauli. One of the last royal structures built in the Mughal era.
Morning was spent at Mirza Muzafar Husain’s Tomb at Sunder Nursery.
Sunny afternoon at Roshanara Bagh. It’s has the most lovely floral paintings on the arches and ceiling. Some jalis were missing but I have partially restored them by sketching them in.
