PSA: rape is no joke. Yet some people still get mad at the victims? Drunk or not, or whatever their wearing or even if they flirt a little with you. It doesn’t give you atomic consent to do what you want. It’s never the victims fault just saying, so please never try to blame

The victims. Many victims don’t come forward because people try and make it seem like it’s their fault and that’s actually really sad. They go through so much pain and hurt alone and you’re going to give them more of that. Even if you’re unsure of the situation be sensitive to it

Don’t say anything harmful or hateful in general because you never know what may be going on behind closed doors and you might just be part of the problem to someone’s suffering. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. :))

Also if you’ve never really been put in a position like that (even if it didn’t end up happening) you can’t really say how the people should feel or get over it right away because you don’t know how hard it can be to talk about.
