Last night's concert was a disaster for both concert attendees and artists, and it's seriously because of AAP! #MBCShowChampionMNL2018 I was regretting not buying a SVIP ticket since I really wanted to see MXM up close, but now I'm so glad I didn't and here's why:
It's devastating what happened to the fans who had the photo op perk but didn't get it because of the disastrous management. How they treated the fans who demanded a refund & explanation was treated so poorly, too. Majority only bought the VIP ticket because of the photo op!
As a fan of MXM, it breaks my heart to know that 70 fans signed up for the photo op, but only 15 fans got the chance! I feel so bad for the fans who weren't given the privelege, and I feel terrible for MXM because they might think they only have 15 PH fans.

I prayed for a fun & successful concert because it's the first time MXM will be performing here. But this happened!!! I don't want them to feel like they're unwanted or not loved in the PH.

More than half of the VIP seated and Lower Box sections were vacant, and AAP didn't do anything to resolve this. They asked the lower box to move to the vip section but still, more than half of the seats were vacant. Here's a photo of the arena 20 mins before the start.
Only the Gen Ad and Upper Box sections were full. We were waiting for an announcement for the UB section to move to the LB section before the concert started. Then during the first act, which was XENO-T's stage, the horror started.
On Xeno-T's second stage, people in my area (UB 404) started leaving and next thing I knew, pretty much everyone was leaving. Apparently people were advised to move to the LB sections. So @antukeen and I moved with the crowd because who doesn't want a better seat?
Outside, people were running and I was so worried that there'd be a stampede. I asked one of the staff if it's that UB folks can move to the LB section and she ignored me. I asked three times and she ignored me and continued walking. It was a red flag but I didn't understand.
I thought she was just pissed so we proceeded to move to Level 2, where the gates for the LB sections were located. It was so chaotic! Some fans were going down on the going up escalator while some fans were running to the Fire Exit. It was scary.
I started to worry because my younger cousin (he's a minor!) who's seating at a different section was also at UB and I couldn't contact him. It was his first concert, too, so he might not know what to do.
Good thing nothing happened to him and to other fans who panicked.

When we reached Level 2, we heard a staff telling the fans that there's no advise for the UB fans to transfer to LB. WHAAAAAAT. The second level was so crowded because it seemed like majority of the UB ticket holders flocked there. Yet, no one was permitted to enter LB.
Audrey and I didn't waste our time and immediately went back to our old section. When we got there, the UB and GA sections were so dark & empty. I felt terrible, imaging how the artists performing on stage felt when fans suddenly started leaving & lightsticks suddenly turned off.
XENO-T started their first stage with loud cheers and ended it to an almost black arena. I'm sorry for what happened, and I hope it'll never happen to any artist again.

The audio was TERRIBLE. We barely heard the MC, and I didn't understand more than 80% of the ment of the artists. The music was fine, but it was almost impossible to understand what the artists and the translator were saying. Ugh. I wanted to hear MXM's message to PH fans!!!
When the concert was over, people weren't leaving because after EXO's Power, they walked off the stage and then nothing. No closing speech from the MC, no appearance of all artists together on stage, no warning, no anything. It was the worst concert ending ever.
Security was really lousy, too. There was no one checking the ticket for each section. Only one person checking the ticket for an entire level. I also chaperoned a minor but our ID's weren't checked at all.
Also, I like EXO and loved their stage, but I wish they added another big name in the lineup. I love my PD101 boys, but they aren't enough to sell out an arena. AAP didn't anticipate it, and it really ended up being like an EXO concert. The imbalance was pretty strong.
Good thing pinoy EXO-Ls are amazing and cheered for everyone. Even though they didn't know other artists who performed, they still cheered and clapped for them. As a MXM fan, I'm forever grateful for cheering on MXM.

And the fans who weren't allowed to enter? OMG. I would probably throw tantrums and break stuff if it happened to me.
Sira yung tawa! Sobrang sakit.

I don't know what I was expecting, but that's certainly not it. It was a terrible concert experience, & I hope AAP never organize a KPOP concert again. They messed with the wrong fandom, & I hope they get what they deserve. And the fans who got mistreated? May justice be served.
A part of me is still grateful for bringing MXM here, but the boys deserve better. MXM deserves better. The Boyz deserves better. Weki Meki deserves better. XENO-T deserves better. Hyungseob X Euiwoong deserves better. EXO deserves better. They don't deserve what AAP delivered.
