We have named our kitten and her name is Malikah Armani.

We will be calling her Malikah for short. I’ll also be updating you guys on how she is faring.

Malikah is quite annoying, and restless. The only person she rates in this house is the man of the house. She has no regard for me and I am about to go feminist on her

Malikah has been crying since and I informed this man. He then told me to better make sure she is fine or prepare to go back to Ibadan.

This one makes me so happy.

But the restlessness is out of here. She does exactly what I tell her not to do, like jumping on the bed anyhow.

So, I beat Malikah yesterday because she bit me. What rubbish, how can I adopt you and take care of you and you will be biting me?

She now looks at me funny and listens to my instructions.

Yesterday, my husband and I hugged and Malikah was really entering the middle trying to separate us. I thought it was bants until she did it twice.

What kind of jealousy is this one?

I gave Malikah her own food, she did not eat. Now, she is staring at me while I'm eating my own food like I'm maltreating her.

Lmaooo who sleeps like this? Only Malikah

Malikah doesn't step outside the house. In fact, she never moves close to the door even when it is open. She must have had a fear of going outside so we were very happy and relaxed that she wouldn't get lost.

However, last week. Babe stepped out to change her litter and he told me she followed him. I said ah, Malikah should not start this one o. She did it like twice.

Then, on Friday, we were leaving the house and he told me to meet him downstairs, he then opened the door since I was almost through. I left the living room to go pick something inside and unknown to me, Malikah got her moment to escape!

She must have found a place to hide, because I didn't see her at all and I locked the door and left. When we returned, our first shocker came when she didn't come to welcome us at the door, that was so unusual. She used to come stay once she heard the sound of the car.

We then started the search. Another pointer was that, her litter and food were untouched. Chaii, we realized she had gone. She had found a way to run away despite all our struggles.

We were so devastated. I wanted to cry. We looked round and couldn't find her. It was such a bitter pill to swallow.

We were so worried about her being in the cold without food or shelter. She had never experienced that life.

The next morning, we walked round the estate asking everyone if they had found her. People even laughed at us.

Then a little girl said: "Excuse me, are you looking for a white cat?" I said yes! With excitement. She then said she saw her at their neighbor's house.

We went to the neighbor's, and they said she actually came because they also have a cat and they played together but after a while, they let her go. Arrggh I was so sad. We continued our search and still couldn't find her.

Some people said she would come back home herself. But the problem was, she had never left the house so she might not know her way around. Someone also told us that we should only allow a four day window, once she doesn't return, she would turn wild and dangerous.

We were still hopeful. We didn't even take her food plate away from the normal place, neither did we discard her litter. We were hopeful we would find our Malikah. She couldn't just go like that after everything

Then, this morning, babe went to the Mosque for fajr and he said he could hear a cat's meow while praying but he wasn't sure. He then left the mosque and behold, Malikah was inside a gated compound, chilling under a flower. ( The gates in the estate are see through)

He waited there because he couldn't enter the compound like that. It was also quite early. Luckily, the owner of the house also prayed at the mosque so he met him there and they both called her out. That's how she was carried home o.

I was on the bed and I just heard: "Guess who I found" followed by a meow. Mehn if you see how I jumped. I was so excited. Like you silly thing, where did you go, why did you put our chest up like that?

Fam, she was looking so dirty. Oh my! Babe had to give her a warm bath with dettol and soap. If you see the dirt that came out of her. O lagbara.

Then, we gave her food. We however noticed her looking rounder than normal. Could it be what we are thinking???

Lataaro, she has been sleeping and moving so slow. Is that a sign?

How can Malikah just go and carry pre marital pregnancy like that within two days? Despite all the shielding we did for her. I'm sure she now knows the street isn't smiling.

Toh, we will take her to the vet to confirm or debunk my fears. Small escape and she has gone to mate. Babe says I shouldnt think along that line , that she is still a virgin.

I have so many questions though.

What if the baby daddy is ugly and the kittens take after him? What if she is in love with him and will always go back? What if they have plans that we don't know? What if he wants custody?

I don't understand why Malikah is following me everywhere in this house. If I talk now, babe will say I'm bullying her. Sigh

You people noticed I’ve not been tweeting about Malikah right? It’s because we are fighting.

And it is because she has become lazier than before.

Not like I expected so much from her but the kind of confidence she uses in being lazy these days ehn, I can’t deal.

You guys, Malikah has started leaving the house mysteriously. I mean, we’d swear we left her inside in the morning but when we return. We won’t find her anywhere in the house.

Then, once we return, she would start crying and knocking the door from outside . It seems there is a way she knows we are back, maybe the sound of the car, because we don’t see her when we are going in.

So, it is either she finds a way to sneak out in the morning ( we don think this is so because we really do make sure to lock her in) or there is an opening to the house we don’t know, or she has some mysterious power

But if there is some power to make her leave the house, why can’t it make her get back in? Why does she have to wait for us to let her back in? These are issues. Please make it make sense

Now, my concern is, it seems she escaped pregnancy the last time. How does she escape again when it is obvious that she has been going for top up from time to time? What kind of behavior is this ?
