This was made over the weekend.. tangy and savoury dhoklas.
Didn't soak it in sugary tempering at all. Kept it fluffy but not juicy like the store bought ones.

Tomato ketchup was made over the weekend as per recipe shared by Bhairvi's mom @BhairaviAshar with a few small additions of my own. It was used in the dishes on the right for a Holi get together & then some more.

Rava halwa, sweetened with jaggery instead of sugar, and flavoured with spices like nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon. Turned out very delish..
Gajar ka halwa for the trayodashi bhog. Used jaggery to sweeten, and spices like nutmeg etc to flavour.

Some fresh pasta (farfalle) was made (since it’s not available online). And no, no pasta machine was used.
Evening meal - pasta (that was set out to dry yesterday) cooked in tomato garlic sauce and a slice of lemon loaf.
Spiced pumpkin cake, and veg patties ( lotsa spinach, and capsicum, chives courtesy the bountiful kitchen garden, carrots, potatoes, garlic, onions) for the burgers ..
Chives, garlic, pumpkin, carrot, spring onion stuffed dim sums with tomato garlic chutney.
