Leaked documents show Georgian citizens were used as laboratory rabbits in Hepatitis C project of an American company.

According to a m.o.u. signed with the Ministry of Health of Georgia, the company cannot be held accountable for any damage which may result from the program.

Revealing reports on the treatment of patients with Hepatitis C, former Georgia minister Igor Giorgadze:

“During the American company’s Hepatitis C project in Georgia, 30 people died in November 2015, 30 in April 2016 and 13 in August 2016.”

Donald Rumsfeld served as the company's chairman from 1997 until he joined the Bush administration in 2001, and he still holds number of shares valued at between $5 million and $25 million, according to federal financial disclosures filed by Rumsfeld.
