So, despite the Game Boy Tower in Pokemon Stadium literally being an emulation of Super Game Boy, the emulation seems to add the N64& #39;s trademark bilinear 2x horizontal scale, used in 3D games as a form of "anti-aliasing."
So as far as OSSC conversion goes, it& #39;s in a weird spot that none of my preset profiles will work on. My 2 N64 profiles? Don& #39;t work because GB Tower uses a non-standard resolution. My SNES optimized profile? Doesn& #39;t work because of the N64& #39;s "anti-aliasing."
Additionally, there is absolutely no information on the internet as to a compatible OSSC profile for Game Boy Tower, AA or not, nor have my efforts to fiddle around with OSSC settings for the past 2 hours produced any results.
It& #39;s times like these I wish I splurged for the N64 Ultra HDMI instead, Because getting OSSC settings to convert the N64& #39;s analog output back to digital is a pain in the ass. With HDMI, it& #39;s plug and play as far as resolution goes.
So I don& #39;t know what I& #39;m going to do exactly. I& #39;ll probably at least mention the GB Tower in the ROR, but recording it seems out of the question until I can figure out how to match the analog sampling settings to the og resolution.
So if you have a copy of Pokemon Stadium, a GB Transfer Pak, a Gen 1 game, an Ultra HDMI modded console, and a capture card, I would really appreciate it if you could send me a non-VI de-blur screenshot to confirm whether the game uses blur + the horizontal resolution.
