I have seen a lot of fake info and misunderstandings lately on my TL regarding one of my best boys, so I would like to fix that if I can!

~A thread about Himemiya Tori, the cutest idol in the universe~
Himemiya Tori was born in the 13th of January, he's a 1st year and the oldest yet sheltered son of the Himemiya family.
The Himemiya family has been revealed to be the head of a company that makes toys for children! This is specially noticeable in Toyland event and dream travel
A tiny bit of trivia info is that, related to this, Tori's pajamas have stuffed toy patterns!
But while superficially being the rich son of a toymaker company seems to be all good news, truth is that Tori has suffered from a very lonely childhood, to the point that he has-
-mentioned that he avoids calling his parents when they are overseas to not bother them, instead relying on letters, and it's also been implied that he was homeschooled instead of attending to regular schools, which adds up to another information, his house feels lonely.
This would explain his awkward interactions with many characters, specially those around his age, saying that he had never had friends before and not knowing how to close his distance with them, lying to himself saying that he doesn't want friends
The reason of this being a lie is very obvious by the end of the year, when he has managed to befriend a lot of first years and senpai and he really enjoys his time with them!
And while we are talking about his friendships, and more importantly, the reason it took him so long to make friends; it could be related to a sense of I security, for being constantly insulted by people of the same social class as him
(While Tsukasa's banter is something that seems to be more because of their personalities crashing than because of their family status, the fact that the term 'nouveau riche' gets throw for the Himemiya family by all other noble families, except the Tenshouin, is a fact)
This situation, being constantly looked down in by others has caused Tori to develop an inferiority-superiority complex, in which while he appears to be incredibly confident in the outside, he suffers from lack of confidence deep inside, something that has been shown since circus
Himemiya Tori is a character made up of contradictions, something that shows up even in his introduction quote, being "Angel? Demon? Bocchama!" because as many people are aware, enstars is a game that plays with the deconstruction of very popular tropes.
In Tori's case, we have the "face of angel but little demon" trope, which /does/ apply to Tori, but that's what we could call a starting point for him, slowly developing to become his own person.
Because while his character is "the cute little demon" type, his character development is actually about maturing and growing up, not completely abandoning his childish side but realizing he can't cling onto it forever, becoming his own unique person that can walk by himself.
Another contradiction from his character, and the one that people seem to ignore the most; Tori values human life above anything else, and while he keeps saying he's a noble, he doesn't want people to feel inferior to each other/someone has the right to snach someone's freedom
His value for human life goes as far as losing his focus and developing a fever in Milky Way after Mika said that he would sacrifice himself for Shu, because Tori could not comprehend how could someone have so little regards towards human life, specially their own life
While we are on the topic, the Himemiya family is actually known because unlike other noble families they treat their servants with care, Tori included. Even the way he treats Yuzuru is to that of an equal, contradicting the way he calls him a slave.
Talking about Yuzuru, he does feel guilty about the fact that Yuzuru has to be constantly taking care of him, going as far as saying he stole his freedom, and he doesn't like it one bit, to the point that he has mentioned that if Yuzuru ever left him, he would think it's fair
Still, there are many occasions in which he has shown how much he cares and appreciates Yuzuru's presence, and while he feels guilty, he wants to make sure that Yuzuru won't regret staying by his side and gets genuinely happy when Yuzuru shows that he's having fun
(a few more examples of how much he cares about and appreciates Yuzuru)
I could keep on talking about Tori, about his wonderful character development and how well written he is, but I think I have spammed enough for today and I hope that with this I have managed to let people know more about him!
The sheltered and spoiled bocchama is slowly growing, so please support him and try to not only stay at the surface, because Himemiya Tori is a character that has a lot more than what the eye can first meet!
