I find these stories so enriching.

They open our eyes to the wonders of our plates and how rooted they are in culture and histories, so many stories yet to be discovered.

I'm also really thankful to people who share these stories with me. Knowing they matter. To me.
The truth is the magic is in the simple and the everyday. The things that make the difference aren't always complex or loud and they are incredibly important.

We should all start our collections of stories, histories, recipes by talking to our elders, asking questions...
There's a whole Nigerian world out there with treasures to uncover.
