I never brought this up until now because I feared people would assume that I was being biased but I won't stay silent anymore. I can't.
I wanna start off by saying, that I love & respect Bighit & Bang PD Nim. I really do, but I HATE their behavior towards Taehyung.

Let me start from the beginning.
The year was 2010, Taehyung accompanied his friend to an audition at BigHit. He was chilling in the hallway when a staff member approached him and told him to give it a shot!
Taehyung explained in the "School Love Affair Keyword" interview +

+ that he didn't hesitate when that opportunity knocked on his door. " He was excited & beyond thrilled! He went ahead and auditioned, and the next thing he knew he a trainee!. What he didn't know, was the sad fact that he was going to remain a hidden member for the next 3 YEARS.

As a hidden member, he wasn't allowed to participate in any of the public events. His identity couldn't be revealed on the social media. He couldn't post pics or logs like the rest of the members. He was there at Jungkook's middle school graduation, and  Namjoon's graduation +

+ and couldn't be a part of any of the video footage/ photos... like he wasn't even there? and to me that is SO unfair!

This is a picture that Jimin Tweeted before their debut, and all you can see here is his back and fans assumed it was Jungkook.

Taehyung talks about this picture in his very first video log as well.

In the IZE Magazine interview, Tae described his time as a Hidden Member:
"I was really sad when I couldn’t film any logs, I couldn’t actually upload any of mine on the blog. I sat by myself and said “'It’s this month and this date 2013, today I did this, this won’t go on the +

+ blog, right?' I’m sad... I was also there when the other members filmed their group log, it’s just that I wasn’t shown on screen - I was actually standing by the trashcan." ... HE STOOD BY THE TRASHCAN WHILE THE OTHER MEMBERS WERE CONVERSING WITH THEIR FANS!

How was ANY of that fair when he worked just as hard as the other members? Don't you all think it was too much of a price he had to pay to be a "surprise" ???

When they debuted, the other 6 members already had their fanbases, fans recognized them they knew them, but my baby had no one. Many people ignored/ skipped him during fansign and fan events and it break my heart. My bubbie did not deserve any of that.

Another thing that upsets me to this day is the fact that after their debut, all that he got to do was growl or sing one line in most of their songs. Why?
He has a beautiful, unique voice, and an astounding vocal range; the widest in the group. Why wasn't he allowed to +

+showcase that?
People STILL say that he can't sing because of what he got to do in the earlier days.

Another thing I never quite understood was how the company kept putting him in weird, uncomfortable situations to perpetuate his "dumb image" no wonder the fans started referring to him as a "4D alien"!

"The one next to namjoon, what's your name?
"my name is Taehyung."
"...This went on for a YEAR."

honestly, no matter how many funny, cutesy sound effects you add to this. It's never going to be funny to me.

All this happened years ago, but if you'd pay enough attention you'd realize that nothing has changed.

His other projects are never promoted by the company.
Let's take 'Hwarang' for an example.
He is the only member in the group who can act, yet no one bothered to promote his show or hype him up.
WHY?

In the 2016, Epilogue DVD, all members had their solo interviews...except my tiger cub :(
They "forgot" to add his part. But hey, it's just Tae, it's not that deep right?

Now lets move on to the 2018 Seasons Greetings, shall we? All the members got something encouraging except...ah! you guessed it! He was handed a negative & discouraging reading. the poor guy went over that fortune book TWICE & was clearly upset & worried even during the games.

Also, in the DVD there's a part where they all eat ice-cream... the staff only got 6 and my baby had to get bites from the other members.

We all know that B21 characters represent the members, right?
The very first description of TATA that they came up with was "Useless and better left alone"....
I'm sure someone on BigHit's content management team reviewed if before it got approved. How on earth did they think +

It wasn't until the fans complained and emailed bighit that they decided to quietly take it down from the B21 homepage. They NEVER addressed it or issued an apology.

They initially posted only 6 members concept photos on Weibo.

They put Serendipity MV instead of Singularity in LY: Tear album on their YouTube Playlist and it took them WEEKS to solve this issue.

Bighit blocked downloads for all BTS MV's but it was enabled for Singularity. Enabling downloads affects the views count. Why are they so negligent when it comes to Taehyung?

Why was his exhibition picture mis-labeled?

Tell me WHY a featuring artist has more lines than him... Tell my WHY HE HAS 2 LINES IN A 4 MIN LONG VOCAL LINE SONG?

Tell me why out of all the members it was HIS screen that blacked out.? The fact that his friends came to this concert and had to witness it too, just makes me wanna cry.

Lastly, This is my favorite song on the album and the fact that bighit made Tae sing just two lines and stand there to watch the rest of the 4 vocalists sing their heart out is just cruel. Let my baby go back after he's done singing. He doesn't deserve this. I

Another thing that I forgot to add. WHY does Tae's part always get cut off in the reaction videos?

I could be wrong but I feel like this statement comes from a place of hurt and pain.

I apologize for not mentioning Seokjin! I'm aware or the fact that he went to an acting school. I also feel like he gets treated pretty unfairly too! He has worked so hard on his dancing skills deserves more screen +

+ time and lines! I'm also upset about the fact the he barely got any screen time in any of the BTS advertisements that we've seen till now.

I feel like they both deserve better.

Since many of you guys think that BTS distribute their own lines, yes they do, but PD nim finalizes the songs & sometimes even changes them. Not everything is up to BTS. In the past, Jin said that he wanted to hear his voice more & once had to ask for lines from yoongi!

To all the company stans out there that constantly talk about how “perfect” and “amazing” bighit is, here’s a video of BTS’s manager smacking Tae on his chest... the douche was fired AFTER this video went viral.

Remember this vlive? Tae talked about how he wrote this unreleased Christmas song, keeping Jimin in mind. He wanted to sing it with Jimin but the bighit producer FLAT OUT DENIED him and said the lyrics wouldn’t suit two men, so he got him to sing it with adora instead.

They released a christmas song which Jungkook and Jimin sang together and it was amazing. So Why was it suddenly considered not ok for 2 men to sing this time? Make it make sense?

Let’s talk about the Europe dvd, all and I mean ALL of tae’s cuts are in the trailer. He doesn’t get any screentime apart from those moments we see him crying in the trailer. It’s sick how Bighit basically used his tears to get more money in their pockets. Absolutely disgusting.

Why do they have to pan the camera away from him everytime so much as he gets into the frame? Why do they cut him out of the videos?

Taehyung is missing from literally all actors list of “Bring The Soul: The Movie”. It’s just one letter...” V” how do you forget it?

Chinese Armys received notifications from music platforms several days before DG and AN dropped. They even received dms from BTS’s official account for GD & AN, but nothing for ABND. Not a single thing.

Truth is that bighit doesn't treat all their artists fairly, especially Taehyung. It blows my mind how some of you company stans go all the way in defending them and saying that Tae stans just like to victimize him. No, we don’t. We just want all the members to be treated fairly!
