First,if we talk about Arashi Concert. We must mention MATSUMOTO JUN.The master mind, concert genius. He leads the staff and member in song sequence, track list, lighting, stage designs, gimmick, well..everything.

in 2005 Matsumoto Jun invented ‘Johnny’s moving stage‘, a transparent moving stage that moves above audiences, aims to reach out closer to audiences that seated further from the main stage. Later it's become applied and a standard for any J&A's concerts or other concert.

"Arashi Around Asia 2008", began 5th September 2008 at the National Stadium in Tokyo,in which the group became the 3rd musical act after SMAP and Dreams Come True to hold concerts there and the ONLY group who got to perform there for 5 years in a row (2008-2013)before its closure

in 2008 for the first time..they held 2 consecutive days concert in National Stadium (Kokuritsu) with 77000 fans for each concert. Full house!

in 2009 They held "ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5x10", represents 10 years they had gone through together.With three consecutive days of performances at the Kokuritsu for the first time in history at that time following 5 dome commemorative tour that attracted 760,000 people in total.

a masterpiece anniversary concert with grand entrance, you can see their figures high up in the sky. They flew 200 meters all the way to the Olympic flame platform at a high 30 meters. They hyped up 70k audience with "Kokuritsu, let's have fun!" it's a dream concert.

This is not sport event opening. This is ARASHI concert in 2009..almost a decade. This scale of concert made by youngest member Matsujun, he's 25 years old at that time.

This 10th anniversary song..title "5x10" the song with lyrics written by the five of them to convey the gratefulness they feel towards their fans, produce by their member, Ninomiya Kazunari. We gonna get 20th anniversary soon! Time fly so fast..

in 2010, ARASHI held tour concert called ARASHI 10-11 TOUR "Scene" ~Kimi to Boku no Miteiru Fuukei~ (The scenery that you and I look at). They performance in National Stadium for four days and 5 major domes in Osaka, Sapporo,Tokyo,Nagoya and Fukuoka.

Although the four days are not consecutive, Arashi became the first act to hold four concert at the National Olympic Stadium in the same tour.The concert used 600 tons of water and 15 metre high waterfalls.
Arashi opened their concert and appeared from behind a wall of water.

This has been the longest concert Arashi had ever done (till 2011).It lasted for over 3,5 hours and they performed 42 songs.Arashi's leader,Ohno Satoshi shared “Unlike other concerts where we only sing our hit singles,this concert brought us back to our roots”~see the waterfall

I told you. When other artists using VCR for their intro solo stage. Matsumoto Jun doing his show instead. His idea come after seeing his member mates Ninomiya Kazunari the game maniac. lol. Nino appeared as diamond in monitor tho. This is in 2010 still in scene~ concert

ARASHI concert more than just sing and dance. It's an experience for all the fans. This is intro for song "circus". Matsujun made Aiba Masaki to join his MJ-walk (matsujun walk); the wire system that allows for them to be suspended 15meters above and walkaway. IT'S MJ LEVEL.

and yes, His inspirator is Michael Jackson.

While performing circus. This is usual things for them tbh. But hard for a member, Sakurai Sho he has achropobia, but he always trying his best at concert.

Their concert always amazing. There's no times gap in their concert..all the things so smoothly, as perfect as perfectionist matsujun. How fast they changed costume, not many ment and VCR.. mostly performance. They're great singer and entertainers.

They ended the concert (exclude 2 times encore stage) with their hit single “Monster”, followed by 1400 fireworks and another round of water shooting out of the fountains. You must see this even you're not a fans.

Aside from tons of water used for the concert, they also used 50,000 balloons, 50 searchlights, 11 moving staircases, 2 self-propelled moving stages, and 2 lift stages. ARASHI ~Scene Tour ended in 2011.

"Beautiful World Tour” begin in July 2011 till January 2012. Two consecutive days in National Stadium and 9 shows in major dome in Japan. In this year they begin charity event called WakuWaku Gakkou (a school theme event) in Tokyo Dome for Tohoku earthquake and tsunami victims.

Then waku waku gakkou became their annual project. Till this year.. they're already held 8th WakuWaku e gakkou. Since this thread for concert.. I'm not gonna talk to much about that here.

Beautiful World Tour concert in Kokuritsu actually at 2nd and 3rd September.They had to cancel a day and couldn’t do the rehearsal as planned because of a typhoon.Instead of cancelling they changed 4th September. In 3rd Sept they decided to do the concert despite the typhoon.

Beautiful World concert in Kokuritsu is really Beautiful! Their name ARASHI (mean Storm) always bring rainy days.. The concert tour concept really explain the album very well "beautiful world". See this for beautiful life

In 2010, they played with water. In 2011 they played with lighting. Even rain can't stop them.

Beside the tour, Arashi doing ARAFES (Arashi Festival) in 2012 and 2013. It was a 3.5 hours long concert held for only two days at Kokuritsu.Beforehand, polls were released for songs fans would like to see live(single,album,and coupling songs).The most requested then concertized

So, it can be said that AraFes was for the fans, the realization of fans’ dreams and wishes. Solo song are based voted too. Who can vote? The official fanclub member only. ARASHI has 1,7millions official fanclub member now. (Please correct or update if I'm wrong).

There's no back dancer during AraFes. Members being back-dancers for other member’s solo was also requested by fans. I feel sorry tho they can't rest during concert. RESPECT LEGEND! and they modify the stage to get near to all of fans.

What's so special in AraFes? You only can see DJ MJ in AraFes. Matsujun sure can doing many things.

Thing that I don't expect in AraFes: They brought Tokyo Symphony Orchestra!! It's still amaze me tho. TSO in Kokuritsu, in Arashi's stage.

I became Arashi big fans since they released Truth single. Personally this song is my favorite, and this performance reference to Beethoven's symphony#9 at the end of the song I would marry this song.

The fireworks color based on each member official color. Blue for Ohno Satoshi, red for Sakurai Sho, Green for Aiba Masaki, Yellow for Ninomiya Kazunari, and purple for Matsumoto Jun.

After AraFes. Arashi announced their next tour. ARASHI Live Tour 2012-2013 Popcorn. They hold 16 performances in 5 major domes across Japan, mobilized 870.000 fans in total.

Popcorn also shows off those so-called cool effects from lighting sweep-plays to dancing rain/waterfall to shadow casting, not to mention each and every gorgeous visual projected onto the background screen as Arashi belts out  Cosmos, Akashi, and Refrain.

ARAFES 2013 it's their 6th consecutive yr to do concert in Japan National Stadium and the final before it's closure.6 years with total 16 shows aprx 1.150.000 audiences in total.They made the history. in AraFes 2012&2013 Aiba Masaki personally design the logo and goodies material

in AraFes'13 the have: ARASHI remix with DJ MJ, they have back dancer, they brought Choirs (in 2012 they brought Orchestra). This is one of the best show, AraFes always in another feeling because the track list voted by fans.

in 2013, They start ARASHI Live Tour LOVE 2013.The love that Arashi wants to convey through this album is not only about love for bf or gf,but also about life, passion and fans. So the meaning of love they bring is wider.The opening w/ VCR, we know all of them are best actor too

Solo stage, Nino made and sang the Song of "20825th" song dedicated to his mother. "20825 days before this LOVE album was released was my mother's birthday. So I specifically made this song for her,"said Nino. Love Tour performances at 5 major dome in 15 shows.

The “ARASHI BLAST in Hawaii” held for Arashi’s 15th year anniversary at the Ko Olina Resort, West Oahu (2014 Sep 19 – 20). ARASHI debut in Hawaii, 15 September 1999. This concert got live streaming in Japan and appeared in Music Station Live from Hawaii and Documenter by NHK

According to concert promoter Tom Moffatt “Of all the concerts I’ve done, I think this is the biggest. To build a stage like this from scratch, the number of high definition screens, nobody has ever done that before.”  #Arashi5x15

this is a $8 million worth of production- which was paid for by ARASHI. They’re bringing the largest stage in Hawaiian history at 63 feet high and 280 feet wide, moving platforms and 13 HD screens, which took dozens of sea and air cargo containers to bring, to Hawaii. LEGEND.

In total 30k people + 4k additional came to see Arashi and a lot of fans even flew in from Japan. The two day event is said to have brought in 20,700,000 dollars to the local economy.Needless to say, this event was on a scale Hawaii has never seen before.This is grand entrance

According to Hawaii Tourism Japan, bringing Arashi to Hawaii has been a two year process and just described the feat as “massive”. They're perform a few song with "Hawaiian version"

When other just need to bring music equipment for concert preparation. In ARASHI preparation must included; flying in two large multi-million dollar stages from Japan. That's why global fans can't related..ㅠㅠ

ARASHI being friends, family, and colleagues. They're true bond is beyond anything, the member even can't describe it..they said "it's just ARASHI". This is their 15th year anniversary.

In 2014 they milestone 15th year anniversary in Hawaii and they had Tour Concert Titled as “THE DIGITALIAN“, state-of-the-art digital technology was used for 55,000 fans with Ligstick. All in all, Arashi sang 37 songs, mobilizing 845,000 people from 5 domes and 18 performances.

Digital technology was used for 55,000 fans.Instead of using light, LED fan-lights/LS were used to illuminate the entire dome. A FIRST of an attempt in the world, Matsumoto Jun worked with structure and production, which took three years and he’s satisfied to see the results.

The members also attached muscle sensor to their arms during their “Hope in the Darkness” performance to catch the movement of their muscles. In return, they can manipulate the lightstick from fans and sounds.

Matsujun planned it since 2011 and got realized in 2014. “I was able to see a wonderful scene in your favor,” he commented as fan-lights get illuminated in Arashi’s five colors using wireless LED system. A huge and tall moving stage called “ARASHI MOVING WING” was also utilized.

They sing together and play the fanlight. At the concert on 23rd,Aiba Masaki also had a surprise birthday celebration, “It’s really good to be born on Christmas eve”.Taking advantage of the fanlights, chosen lights turned to green (Aiba’s color) with a message, “Omedatou Masaki”

I remember to read a concert report from a fan who went to the concert with his son, she said his son asked is ARASHI a magician? How they changed the costume..

Arashi also hold the 2nd installment of Arashi BLAST that started in Hawaii with Arashi Blast in Miyagi,in response to the request of Miyagi’s governor, Murai Yoshihiro,to aid the reconstruction in the disaster area that was hugely affected during the Great East Japan Earthquake.

ARASHI blast in Miyagi 2015 is held 4 day in Hitomebore Stadium Miyagi (Miyagi Stadium), expected to mobilize 200,000 audience. The nearby Miyagi Sports Park will also be integrated with a special corner for local goods and gourmet in collaboration with the locals.

In the same year,2015 is their 16th year. Arashi expressed their interpretation of the wonderfulness of Japan in their unique way through their new album "Japonism" and announced Dome tour,was held at 5 different venues, for a total of 17 performances and mobilized 800k audience

The Japonism tour’s theme was “genten kaiki” (go back to the roots) whereas the goal was to have us experience Japanese and Johnny’s brand of entertainment through music. The animated opening is their modern selves time-traveling and coming face to face with their medieval selves

The album/tour’s concept mirrors that of birthday: to retrospect to the beginning, to who we are, to where we are now, to see how far we’ve come. Here, they mean it in terms of Japanese and JE’s music. Personally, this is my Top 3 concert of Arashi.

Arashi concerts are attended by people from all ages and genders. Sho always greeting female, male, kids, parents etc in the audience. Arashi are liked not just by girls but they have a broad audience as well, even across generations. National Idol Arashi.

In his solo stage, Don't You Love Me. Flying or walking upside down don’t cut it anymore, so this time Matsujun tried parkour. Always..mind blowing.

Arashi wrapped up their “ARASHI LIVE TOUR 2015 Japonism”. With this, the group has achieved another record, 17 years from their debut. Attendance to Arashi’s concerts officially exceeded 10 million.

ARASHI has mobilized 10,163,000 of concerts attendees in their 17 years, marking the shortest amount of time to reach it. The record was first achieved by their senior, SMAP after 20 years of activity.

As a gift to fans, the group announced an Arena Tour for 2016 "Japonism Show", their first arena tour in 9 years. The group will be holding 2 shows in a day for some of the concert dates. In total, the group will tour 6 cities with 17 performances, mobilizing 170,000 people.

The trend among concert organizers in Japan to scan the faces of fans at venues to discourage ticket scalping has finally been adopted by Arashi. Johnny&Associates has announced introduce facial-scanning technology for Arashi’s “Japonism Show”,the first time for one of its acts.

Arashi's tickets are notoriously hard to obtain.Only Arashi’s fanclub members are eligible to apply for a ticket, and they still need to win a fiercely competitive lottery.There is 2,3 million fans who joined official fanclub. You can join only w/ address+phone in Japan region

Tickets for Arashi's concert which originally cost less than ¥10,000, regularly fetch hundreds of thousands of yen on the thriving online resale market.The new rule aims to allow only people who obtained tickets through an official route to enter the shows, said a PR J&A

Under the new system, applicants for tickets must submit their mug shot via email along with their application form. The facial recognition technology installed at the entrance of concert venues does the rest. (ARASHI Japonism Show in ARENA 2016)
