thread of red velvets distinct and cute facial features that make them standout from what ive noticed as an artist whos drawn for a long time

starting off with irene, what you notice right away is her cheekbones and square jaw. her jaw is seen as a v shape in most photos but at the right angle you can see its wider and sharper. you dont see it often and it makes me sad because its one of the things i like the most

then we have her ears. theyre slightly larger than normal but it compliments her big cheekbones and is very cute. her left ear portrudes more than her right and its very endearing. her headshape is a circle thats just wider in the middle and gets smaller again

this is a small note to say this isnt a negative thread at all, its an appreciation for how unique they are facially and have features that make them easily distinguishable from the others, moving on

her eyes are round and have a deer-like quality about them. she has double eyelids as seen in photos, and the lid themselves are thick. she also has a very small mole under her eye, followed by one on her brow, her head, on her cheek and one IN her eye that no one talks about!!

she also raises her right eyebrow before breaking out into the wide grin she has as seen here

moving on from irene otherwise ill talk about her forever my love has no limits for irene we’ll move onto seulgi

right off the bat with seulgi the first thing you notice is her round face and wide grin and trademark eyesmile that puts the sun to shame

her face is very round in appearance due to two things, her high and large cheekbones and like irene, a sharper jaw thats square. it really suits her warm and friendly personality because like casper and clau say, seulgi is round and shaped like a friend

she has monolid eyes with the left rarely having a double but that can be from fatigue or angle, but generally they are mono most of the time. her eyes are actually smaller than they appear to be, her makeup style extends her lash line out followed by under eyeshadow.

she has an eyelid mole aswell. her face seems to have gained more shape and width after debut but overrall has stayed the same. she has a long unique nose i dont see often in koreans and higher nostrils. its why she said before she resembled a mouse instead of a bear

she often has a lion mane when she doesnt have time to do her hair because its curly! it looks wavy but its because she brushes out the curls but her mane is very very cute. her bottom lip is also smaller than the top is, and she has a dimple. i love her face its just.. Friendly

other than that i cant think of anything else right now for seulgi, moving onto wendy

wendy wendy wendy, right off the bat i think of her jaw and chin. her jaw comes out forward than most peoples do! its really pretty and makes her look so nice.

her face has changed often but what ive seen that sticks around is her cheekbones are full and she has a longer face than seulgi and irene does. she also looks the most foreign out of all of them due to her double eyelids, nose and faceshape

her nose is long and tilts downwards which you dont expect when you see her upfront! she scrunches her nose and furrows her eyebrows and tends to shut one eye tighter than the other one while laughing.

onto her iconic brows, theyre very expressive. when they just debuted, wendy had her natural browns that were long and bushy. the makeup from that time made her eyes seem droopier and more softer looking

this feature is what artists give wendy alot, and its her canine tooth. her teeth are long but her canine sticks out more than the rest does and gives her a cute youthful image that are given to anime characters to show their playful side. her top lip also goes in when she smiles

im also sure they have many many other features that stand out but these are the ones ive noticed, now onto the tall giant joy

joy is actually really interesting to talk about because like wendy, her appearance changed alot throughout the years but whats stayed consistant is her wide gummy smile that makes me want to cry whenever i see it

like joy said on knowing brothers, her face changes depending on what image shes going for. in peek a boo she said her eyebrows were thick and sharper and had an arch, where as her more innocent character in tempted had straight eyebrows with a more natural look

like all of them, she has wide cheek bones. in the beginning her faceshape was very round due to her chubby cheeks when she debuted, but its morphed into the well desired v shape that is sought out for. her cheeks come and go though its cute

her eyes are very round but her left eye (its seen as right in these photos) is rounder than her right one is. she also has a double lid on her left eye which the other one doesnt have!! its totally normal and possible for her to have

arms. i dont need to say more than that

she has full and luscious lips + long teeth. you’d think they wouldnt be as full when she smiles but they stay the same even with her big grin. the tip of her nose is very round and tilts downwards

thats all i can think about for joy, moving onto the last but not least, yeri

before i actually start with yeri, you may be confused on why their faceshapes change alot. its mostly due to whether if their face is swollen (from just waking up or eating certain foods) or its due to editing in photoshoots or on photo apps that edit selfies

yeri had a wide small round face but with a VERY sharp and pointy chin. it really puts it together well and it compliments her wide smile and large cheekbones. some days her face is chubbier and wider but it depends on hairstyle and what she ate or how she slept that day

her lips are THICK and top is thicker. the middle part juts out and its very very cute. she also has small teeth that are gummy and they look like baby teeth. shes literally :}

her eyes are double eyelided, small but very big and round, it may seem larger than usual in photoshoots due to editing thats why i added it in but if you look at normal photos, they arent that large.

her face hasnt changed at all simce her debut in icecream cake, its just matured a bit more and her eyebrows are darker and more filled in

id also like to point out that her bodyframe has bigger hips and waist, its not weight, its how her skeleton is actually built. ive seen people talk about it in an negative light and id like to say its very very normal and common. in men it gives the more “muscular” look
