#IfIWroteGH (step in time machine & go back two years) Nelle arrives in town. She grew up impoverished & her dad (not Carly's adoptive dad) sold her kidney to some rich criminals. She's bitter & feels the world owes her.
She stays the heck away from Sonny's bed & sets her sights on seducing the gullible & romantically challenged Michael hoping to attain the charmed life she thinks she deserves.
Her scheme to get Mikey to marry her doesn't work out as planned when never-murdered good girl Sabrina rescues her man by exposing Nelle's shady past as a black widow. Nelle goes from almost having it all to town pariah.
Father/Dr. Griffin Monroe is the only one in town who feels she deserves a second chance. To add salt to the wound, Nelle finds out that her father is dying & uses the last of the money in her checking account to go visit him one last time.
On his deathbed, he confesses to Nelle that she isn't really his daughter after all and the she was given to him to raise with a some of money which he gambled away.
Meanwhile, Madeline hints to Valentin that Nina didn't lose her baby with deadexhusband after all. Valentin enlists Curtis help to find out if there is any truth to what Madeline told him.
Nelle returns to Port Charles penniless and in shock. She confides in Griffin what her father told her. She's angry that she was given away but Griffin suggests that she might not know all the circumstances & that she try to find her real parents.
Curtis finds out that Nina's baby did live & tells Valentin. Meanwhile, Nelle bumps into her former boss Nina & the two ladies have a verbal sparring match.
Valentin has Curtis continue with the investigation in hopes to win back Nina by bringing her daughter home to her. But when they find out that Nelle is the baby, Val is hesitate to say anything.
Nelle gets into some sort of accident or whatever & has a rare blood type. She won't survive unless a donor is found. Curtis tells Nina the truth knowing that she would want to save her daughter & that she will be a match.
So it ends up that Nelle was a wealthy heiress after all. The End.
