Thanks to this biriyani story, I thought this would be a right time to tell about the wonderful person called @HHtweetz Couple of years back me and few of our friends went to Spiti valley and this bugger also came along with us (1/n)
That was the 1st time I am travelling with him. Because it was spiti valley we saw some posts of people who had trekked earlier there, we desperately wanted to trek somewhere and we decided to trek to the hikkim village from spiti. (2/n)
Asked for help, everyone was telling a particular route which is 4km where there was a proper trail, but being the people we are we asked more opinions and one local lady told us to cross a mountain and said that would be hikkim. (3/n)
We got excited, started the trek, had no plans and preparation, didnt even carry enough water bottles thought it would be a 3km trek so we will do it in left hand only. (4/n)
Started, walked, walked and literally crawled and reached the top of that hill after 3 hours. Then realized it was just halfway and we climbed for another 3 hours. This was literally mountaineering without gear, without practice and on top of everything without water. (5/n)
Finally we reached the road from where we had to walk another 4 kms to reach the village. At this point of time, we finally got some energy and started laughing at ourselves for all the nonsense that we did over the last 10 hours. (6/n)
We were all exhausted and thirsty, craving for water when I asked everyone what is that one thing that you would want now. 3 of us said water and this @hhtweetz said machan Briyani da. (7/n)
We all started ROFL and he was like machan, I am hallucinating now and seeing leg pieces everywhere, Yes yes that same #AayirathilOruvan story only. Then we finally reached hikkim and there were one old couple who offered us water (8/n)
But this guy didn't have anything, we came down all the way in car and then he had Biriyani at one restaurant and then became normal. He didn't even have water till then. This guy is one legend only !!! \\m/ (9/9)
And this is our man @HHtweetz after having biriyani
And this was us, exhausted after the 1st half of the mountaineering trek
