BH’s Empire: I had been planning to write about BH & Bang but after what I found yesterday, the picture changed. All the mistakes, no promo, no PR, airport security & anything related to the boys... It wasn’t incompetence, laziness, money or lack of skilled workers.

BH & Bang just DIDN’T care. It wasn’t important. As fans we worked our butts off streaming, voting, trending, calling the radio & practically begging the US artists to collab. Bang was very busy. Busy building his empire. He has been working on Trademarking all BTS, ARMY,

HYYH(Korea only) & BT21 since last year all over the world. They filed in US, EU, KR, PH, SG and AU recently. He is taking merch from BTS name to ARMy name so they don't get cuts. Look at the dates of the filings below.
Bang was Trademarking 27 in US alone, all before, during &

after Fake Love CB. Look carefully at all the listed items on 27 items Trademarked. If you push the logo, the info will come up. This was what took his mind, effort & money. The boys were on back burner. Is this what a “Father” does? The US was filed on 6-4-2018.

Which means it took a team of research staff, marketing & Korean lawyers to gather all info. Then submit to all the attorneys around the world to file with Patent & Trademark office. This usually takes a year to process. Filing date means when it was submitted & registration date

means when it goes effect. Many are in process now. All links will be at the bottom of the thread. USA alone has 11 trademark for BTS, 6 for ARMY and 10 for BT21. He didn't care about the boys or anything else. he was busy trying to make sure BTS and ARMY were under his thumb.

Building his merch empire and finding a way to keep boys captive. Trademarks cover names, logos, ARMY bombs, clothes, dolls, food kitchen items, everything but the kitchen sink. There are thousands of items on there. EVERYTHING. All of this is owned by BH & Bang.

None of the profit goes to the boys. Trademark term lasts 10 years then he can renew. No agency in Korean history went to this extreme in Trademarking around the world with such extensive list. What’s wrong with Trademarking? It’s good to protect the boys, You say. Antis don’t

sue & there are no tax benefits. So why? He is protecting himself from losing billions. Even boys personally designed characters, BH OWNS them all. Why now? Why not before? Bc their popularity wasn’t a global phenomenon before and Trademarking is a way to keep boys hostage to

renew the contract. It’s almost impossible to leave unless they pull a TXVQ or Beast. Before BBMA last year, He knew the boys were popular globally. He saw BT21 merch selling out. He knew he hit Jackpot. He was after the money. When you can build billion+ dollar empire, who cares

about clapped tags, promo, preorder link or whatever. So what if there are mistakes. Why bother? Who cares? MVs would have been viewed anyway. I-ARMYs been Bang’s best friend. We are no longer BTS’s ARMY but BH’s. All that we do only benefit BH by doing the work for him.

We have been his employees just like the boys. We just didn’t know it.
Breaking records? I-ARMYs do it for BTS (Bang) w/o being told. Preorder links? No need. We would still buy them. Promo & PR team? Why need promo when I-ARMYs are calling radios and voting.

He has the best PR team working for him for free. He knew us so well and used it.What kind of father abandons his kids during their comeback to chase money using ARMY name. The plushies boys designed for the fans r not even theirs. It’s all BH. Boys don’t get cent out of this.

BTS brand is already established. He just needed to secure all the rights to merch. Money is in concerts and merch not albums sales. Couldn’t let his cash cow BTS or ARMY slip through his fingers. He owns everything now. Bang wasn’t dumb. He wasn’t incompetent.

He is sneaky business man who counted on I ARMYs to do what we’ve always done. While he went after the whole pie.He is building an empire on the backs of boys and ARMYs. And he accomplished it. Bang owns 51% and his cousin’s company owns 26% of BH. The Bang family owns 77% of BH.

His cousin’s failing business, Netmarbel, was rescued by Bang when he brought him in to BH on April of this year. (Wikipedia). Now Netmarble is legally allowed to sell all things with BTS image, voice, mannerisms, etc. They are banking on all ARMY’s devotion to BTS to buys

all this crap. They think we r sheeps. Netmarble started with one game, then we got news there will be 18 games to come. Bang & his cousin working together to keep it in the family. A common practice in Korea. Netmarble would be able to make millions off ARMYs.

devotion will not let boys down. That we WILL buy, stream, vote and trend. They are taking advantage of our love for boys to manipulate us into buying more and more merch, while keeping us trapped. We will see more BT21 stores popping up w more merch shoved down our throats.

Under current contract boys get a paycheck, unless he is gracious enough to throw some crumbs as bonuses. It’s all going to Bang. Those of you who are deluded into thinking the boys are millionaires, wake up. If they were they would have already bought a building each.

That is the first thing idols do when they have money. It’s coming of age of sort in Korea. All Big Bang members own it. So do other idols. If boys are making what BH makes, they should have already bought couple buildings each. Boys new 2020 contract is crucial.

They can negotiate to get some profit but won’t own any of BH. They should OWN it. It was them who made BH the money. It was their designs Bang put under his name. I want them to be part owners of BH. This would secure boys future and have some control. W/O it they are still

employees with a longer leash. With all these Trademarks, he is making it impossible for boys to leave and force them into new contract. If the boys leave BH they can’t use BTS or ARMYs. He has both the BTS and ARMYs as hostage. Only way to use these names is to stay under Bang’s

control or buy it out right from BH. But he won’t sell. He can’t let his cash cow go. We need to make sure the boys GET stocks in BH. It’s their money. They have right to it. f he was their “father”, he should give the boys 50% of the stock. He won’t. He may have been a father

figure at one point in early time, now he is being a greedy CEO. Money changes & corrupts people. And he is corrupted. We need to save our boys. It’s been in Korean news the employee will get shares at cheap price but I have not seen a thing written about the boys. If we are true

ARMY and love the boys we need to trend “Give Boys Stocks” in Korean. Need to make a project. They may have discussed stock option but I am not willing to take a chance. Do not want boys shafted. Money talks in Korea. This trend WILL make news and the media will start questioning

Bang of his intentions. We have to make sure the boys get stocks. We MUST trend when it’s a right time and must trend until Korean media notices. It’s the only thing ARMYs can do to protect the boys. So UNITE! We have to. They worked too hard to have no control over their lives

Korean Trademark. Bang is going after it all. We need to make sure the boys get what is rightfully theirs. And have the freedom to pursue acting, solo or whatevs they want to do. Until they become part owners, they will be Bang’s captive. Cannot make decisions. We MUST help them!

I wrote this when I was highly emotional & knew what it meant 4 the boys. Bang was not a sneaky or lazy business man. He was being extremely smart. He did what he needed to do, which was in the best interest of his comp. He did very well. From biz POV, best thing he ever did.

To put it in perspective, BTS and anything related to them(army, armypedia, BT21 & others) has 2nd highest TM in the world after Elvis Presley. BTS has more Trademark than Beatles. Was it for their music? Absolutely not!!
