In hindsight I probably could’ve a#handled it more classy. @Kimberly_Corban did a great job and I adore her for her maturity and calmness in the face of absurdity.

But

I reacted with rage. Pure rage.

Why? Because that’s how this made me feel and how it made many survivors feel as I’ve been told in my DM’s.

I’m not the calm voice I’d reason. I’m a regular gal who lashes out when these awful things are said.

I’m incredibly imperfect but hats what it’s like for a lot of survivors and women.

We are on different parts of our journey. Some, at a point where they can respond with class & tact.

And some who may have been sent into a panic attack by the comments alone.

I’m in the middle. Struggling but making it. And enraged that someone with her platform would abuse that power for attention. I’m sorry I didn’t do better but I’m not there yet
