Here is a picture of my pet crawfish Boudreaux. The sand in the tank took a while to settle sorry for the delay
Boudreaux update: he has gotten far cockier post-molt. He no longer runs away when you walk up to the tank, instead he throws his claws up
Today I fed Boudreaux a left over chicken bone. He absolutely loved it
Heâs basically a teenager so I think this is him acting out of anger. Should I take disciplinary action or sit down and try to reason with him?
I know Django has stolen my social media spotlight but I felt obligated to let everyone know Boudreaux is still alive and well
Today, Boudreaux and I had our one year anniversary of being together. To celebrate, I purchased him a new structure to explore
Boudreauxâs latest housing upgrade was a smart plug for his light. I put it on a schedule which means more consistent (artificial) days/nights for him!
Feel the need to update this thread: the other day I shattered Boudreauxâs tank into several pieces as I was cleaning it out. Luckily Walmart had his exact tank in stock so he was quickly returned to his home. Owning a crawfish isnât all sunshine and rainbows but we make it work

Wanted to cap off this thread with the announcement that Boudreaux has gone on to fishy Heaven. He lived a full life, lavished with shrimp pellets and love. Please respect our privacy at this time.
