I remember one time during my service year (Jos, Plateau state) when I went out for evangelism, I was very happy and joyful inviting people to church up until a Hausa Muslim man approached me.

He almost stabbed me!
#Thread
I noticed him from afar walking towards my direction, but he was a normal person to me at that point. He walked up to me with a smile, I smiled back, but my spirit wasn& #39;t comfortable with him.
He seemed like he was interested in the conversation I was having with other Muslims (who were at that point listening to me attentively). He started getting closer to me than normal.

He switched to Hausa and started asking me questions I could not really understand (I only understand Hausa when its time to price meat and tomatoes from my customerhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙈" title="See-no-evil monkey" aria-label="Emoji: See-no-evil monkey">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙈" title="See-no-evil monkey" aria-label="Emoji: See-no-evil monkey">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙈" title="See-no-evil monkey" aria-label="Emoji: See-no-evil monkey">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙈" title="See-no-evil monkey" aria-label="Emoji: See-no-evil monkey">)
Then baba held me, brought out a small knife, started shouting and was ready to stab me. Note that I wasn& #39;t the only person there to evangelize. At that point my partners were fully engrossed and they did not notice me.
The people I was preaching to initially were just looking at us without getting involved, people that were smiling with me and calling me "coffer"

I was ready to scream but my voice couldn& #39;t carry me, then I remembered this scripture
Then I burst into tongues like never before mehn. It was like my tongues were speaking to him and he was reacting to it. He gently dropped me, smiled at me and walked away.
My partner and I did not continue our evangelism that day, wisdom is profitable to direct. Besides it was already getting late.

This day is still the best evangelism day of my life! I got hotter for Christ and I was "gingered" to do more kingdom work.
The former me would have made that day the last public evangelism day of my life, I& #39;m kuku not getting paid and my mummy did not send me either.
Till today I thank God for that day.
Matt 6:33 is no longer why I do kingdom work. To me its no longer about "Every other thing would be added unto you". Its way bigger than that. Everyone needs to have a taste of who JESUS CHRIST is, I have tasted and enjoyed it.
I mean this Jesus decided to come in human flesh, loved me unconditionally to die for me and my sins, He made my unfaithful self perfect again....I did not beg him or ask him. I have seen his goodness everyday of my life!
This love is enough reason for me to spread the gospel...whether you like it or not of you are my friend you have no choice than to follow Jesus. Some of them even call me "IYA JESU" Lol
If you are reading this right now and you are not born again, there& #39;s nothing stopping you from accepting this Jesus as far as you believe in him.

Read this:

Father I believe you came to die for my sins. Thank you for delivering me. I am made perfect in you. Thank you Jesus!

Oh let me end my story. A lot of people I spoke to that night came to church and gave their lives! Even if I was stabbed that night it was totally worth it! Thank Jesus.
