[3:09pm] Checking in from the Autonomous Action For Total Liberation in Captiol Hill. Noticeably large amount of SPD officers are following protesters currently. A few eggs thrown at buildings and officers but no significant property damage thus far.
[3:22pm] SPD makes a targeted arrest. The march then crosses paths with the ongoing Annual March and Rally For Immigrant and Workers& #39; Rights.
[3:45pm] The march has passed through Seattle’s famous Pike Place Market. Pretty even split of pro-protest vs. pro-police comments from onlookers. One woman asks an officer why they aren’t wearing masks, another tells an officer to “tase them!”
[4:34pm] SPD makes two additional targeted arrests and have declared an unlawful assembly.
[4:48pm] SPD rides over the Black Lives Matter mural on Pine St.
[4:52pm] Additional arrests in the park, this one particularly aggressive. An officer appears to slam their knee on a protester and keeps it on the protesters neck/back area.
[5:23pm] SPD leaves the area and the protesters have largely dispersed. I’m headed out for the day.
