//THREAD\\\\ I’m in a good chunk of pain now than I was a few hours ago. Can’t sleep. So here’s my thoughts on some of the 2021 rookies.
Might be one of my worst/least coherent threads yet, so good luck lol just trying to take my mind off of the pain.

RB1 Najee Harris —Pro comp: Matt Forte
Patient runner, excellent vision, does not hesitate to burst through a hole
WAY better receiver than ppl on here are giving him credit for
Ran 22mph at freaking 231 lbs & reportedly might run a 4.45-4.50
1.01
RB2 Javonte Williams —Pro comp: Thurman Thomas
Broken tackle machine
Hits like a linebacker (probably bc he played LB in HS & FreshYr UNC
Above-average receiver, does much better than expected in contested situations
Contact balance might be as good as Etienne’s
Other pros on Javonte, who just might be my favorite player in this draft:
Was his high school Valedictorian (4.6 gpa). Incredibly intelligent
One of the hardest working players in the film & workout room (per coach interviews)
Carries his Bible around campus

RB3 Travis EtiennePro comp: Alvin Kamara-lite
First off, I’d put money on Etienne having played all/most of 2020 injured (back, left quad). This isn’t confirmed but he was constantly grabbing his back, having his L quad worked on
ELITE speed
ELITE contact balance
ELITE acceleration
Vision could use some work.. Etienne is the most scheme dependent Tier1 RB for 2021
Weapon all over the field
Improved as a pass catcher 2020
Won’t need 20 touches/game to make a fantasy impact
RB4 Kenneth GainwellPro comp: Austin Ekeler
Might be the best receiving RB of the class (Felton is a WR)
Patient runner, solid vision, solid footwork
Can be lined up anywhere on the field
Only downside is potentially his size. If he weighs in 200-205,
WR1 Ja’Marr Chase —Pro comp: DJ Moore
As much as I love my route runners, I love YAC/broken tackles more
Arrogant hands, always goes & snatches the ball
Excellent 80/20 WR despite 6’0” stature. Plays BIG
Has been training at EXOS
WR2 Kyle Pitts —Pro comp: Mike Evans
Yup I said it.. WR2
Elite route runner for being a TE
Won’t be surprised if he sets the TE record for red zone targets & TDs
Mismatch nightmare, instant DynastyTE1 (I have him at #4) first day he steps on the field
WR3 DeVonta Smith —Pro comp: Marvin Harrison
Elite route runner
Excellent 50/50 WR, goes up & gets it
Excellent release of LOS
Tough, durable. Only 1 injury (2018 hamstring, 2 gms)
Only knock is size.. rumors are he’ll weigh in at 170. Can’t ignore the hit rate
WR4 Rashod Bateman —Pro comp: Chris Godwin
I’m very close to putting him up to WR2. I LOVE Bateman. 2nd favorite in this class behind Javonte.
YAC stud
Could improve crispness of routes
“Wow” catch factor anywhere on the field
Monster DOM%
WR5 Rondale Moore —Pro comp: Steve Smith Sr
Elite BOA of 18
Elusive, broken tackle machine, insanely strong
Will always be open
May struggle with drops
If he slips into Round2 of your drafts, my word trade everything you have to get that 2.01 pick
TE1 Kyle PittsPro comp: Mike Evans
Plays like a WR
Mismatch nightmare
Can outrun, outjump, outmuscle, etc etc
Next elite TE
TE2 Brevin JordanPro Comp: Jordan Reed
Smaller, but can line up anywhere
Great receiver, YAC
Injury concerns
Solid value in Rd2
TE3 Pat FreiermuthPro comp: Hunter Henry
Good receiver, good blocker
Strong hands
Should be a very solid Tier2 TE at the next level
Running out of gas, so that’s all for now. I might add more later. I’ve been getting these 20-30 minute spurts of energy then get tapped out.
