Once again witnessing the harsh reality of workers in the tobacco industry. Just this week on Instagram, I saw some of Swedens' most influential profiles marketing snus brands. Stating things like: "This product is so fresh - and entirely tobacco-free".
The new nicotine-products that we see on the Swedish, as well as the global market, are NOT tobacco-free and not sustainable in any matter. They are derived from the tobacco plant and made from people living with really harsh living standards that the industry takes advantage of
Sweden is violating its commitment to the @FCTCofficial by letting influencers sell these products with false statements directly to kids. The convention states that 'tobacco products' means products entirely or partly made of the leaf tobacco as raw material. @lenahallengren
