cat twitter - I’m reaching out for help/advice. My cat constantly scratches the carpets at night. I have plenty of cardboard scratchy boxes, lots of various cat toys, a tree... I’ve even started leaving my door open so she has more access to me when I’m sleepin 1/2
Is there anything else I can do to get her to stop scratching the carpets? She particularly loves stairs and corners, and idk what to do. I thought it was related to anxiety, maybe it still is but idk what else to do

Unrelated to scratching but she also howls a lot at night, is that normal? I’ve owned cats all my life but I don’t remember them making so much noise at night (I do know cats are nocturnal). But whenever I’ve owned cats there were at least two. She’s the only cat
