By far my FAVORITE accessory movement for developing a bulletproof posterior chain
and strong deadlift

Let’s talk a little bit about the Goodmorning (THREAD)

When you watch the video, theres a few things to notice:
I’m keeping my upper back tight and sitting down on my core as hard as possible
I’m not simply dropping my back towards the ground, but instead, pushing my hips BACK
lengthening my hamstrings, and elevatoring down

I still kee my chest has high as possible to keep my posterior chain in a neutral alignment as I would in the deadlift.
As I push my hips back, my knees break OUT
loading a majority of the weight into my glutes and hamstrings and taking it off my lower back.
As I come out of the hole, I’m driving my chest UP
and crashing my hips FORWARD
with as much force as possible (think about the deadlifting movement)
I’m squeezing my glutes and sitting down on my core as hard as possible on the way up in order to get my hips...
Back to the initial starting position.
When done CORRECTLY, the SSB Goodmorning is one of the best if not the best accessory exercises for a strong deadlift
